- Even though the home is close to town, there are no shoulders on the road, making it potentially dangerous to walk due to passing cars.
- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.
- Please note that the propane BBQ is available from April through October and is put away during the winter months.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. Our stay on Whidbey was amazing, and this house was a big part of it. The place is clean and spacious, with a glorious view of the sound, Camano Island, and the Cascades in the distance. We enjoyed time on the deck just looking out at the ocean as well as cooking many dinners in the large kitchen. It's convenient to most of South Whidbey Island and even walkable to Langley if you're hardy enough (like my wife).The only thing to be aware of, especially if a good shower is important to you, is that both showers have very low water pressure and don't keep a steady temperature. We could only use one shower, since the one in the main bathroom was so weak that it wouldn't rinse out shampoo. AvantStay told us they couldn't do anything about it, so bear this in mind. It was a small blemish on an otherwise amazing stay.

Take a minute to just sit and take in the views.This is a great house with sweeping views of the Puget Sound out of every window. It's also close to great parks and downtown Langley for some really good eats too!
