Modern, detached vacation home - relaxation in the Südheide

We rented this apartment as a married couple. Both of us really enjoyed the stay. The property is nearly new, very clean, well decorated and really well equipped with all you require for preparing and eating food. A modern heating/climate control system maintains a comfortable temperature. It was very hot during our stay but the inside temperature was just right. Beds and chairs were very comfortable. The apartment is very quiet and has a large private garden in which it was great to sit drinking a beer in the evening watching the swallows and listening to the blackbirds. A great feature is keyless entry, the lock being electronic and controlled by a keypad. We were sent the entry code prior to arrival. This system eliminates the need for key collection/hand in which can be problematic with rentals. There are enjoyable walks and cycle routes from the door. Sandra and her husband Andre are excellent hosts and kind and hospitable. Communication was excellent throughout. They live next door and so are available should problems arise. You will need a car. The nearest shops are in Winsen, about a 5 minute drive, which will supply all of your needs and has several restaurants and ice cream parlours. The interesting city of Celle is a 30 minute drive. We have stayed in over 100 holiday apartments, this was probably the best of them.
