About this house rental
**Access to camp is only by boat, we do offer a boat to taxi back and forth with for an additional fee. The boat ride from one side of the canal to the other, no more than a 1 minute ride.****
This Modern getaway is located In Manchac, LA and is very close to some very popular spots local spots. The main one is the Famous Sun Buns Bar and Grill that is located right next door. You can literally walk out the camps front door and walk there since the dock is attached to Sun Buns.
Some of the other local places within boating distance would be The Fuel Dock, Boopalou s, Tinn Lizzy s, Warsaw Marina, The Prop Stop and the Famous restaurant Middendorfs. Middendorfs can also we accessed by the hwy and is only a 3 minute car ride away.
The amazing camp offers 3 Beds, 2 Full bath and can sleep 6 Comfortably. There is plenty of room to fit air mattresses for the kids or you could even fit two people on the sectional couch. With request Queen size air mattress with linens can be dropped off.
Some other great features are the flat screen TVs, built in Bluetooth speakers, stainless appliances, sub zero fridge, quartz countertops, washer/dryer and the amazing view of the sunset on the west side of the camp through the huge Picture Windows.
Sun Buns, The Fuel Dock and The Prop Stop are only open weekends from April- mid September.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay....from breathtaking sunsets to amazing wildlife. The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games....
The host and staff were very nice and always available.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

Stayed here for the weekend and everything went great. Connected to Sunbuns if you want to just walk along the dock to it for a drink or to hangout. Definitely recommend

Even though the rain put a little damper on the weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Highly recommend for a family get away or a girls retreat!! We fished and took the boat out! Sun buns is next door so Bloody Mary’s definitely happened! Great place and owner was super accommodating.

Very nice house looks just as listed. Outside is very dirty and not kept up with though, trash piled up. Inside was very clean, toilets constantly run though. Wifi barely worked for the first night, and then went out completely for the rest of our stay. The owner messaged us at 1am asking what time we wanted to leave, one day before we actually were supposed to leave, I u fortunately got covid while there so I left a fay early willingly, but the fact that he thought we were supposed to leave a day early is weird. He didn’t seem to know what was going on with the booking at all. He was very nice and helpful with trying to fix the wifi, even came over to try to help, to no avail. Not his fault- it’s the swamp. Overall it was a pleasant stay
