Y Heddfan – Nantmawr Farm
Nestled within 50 acres of peaceful farmland with sweeping views over Cardigan Bay, Y Heddfan is a stylish, self-contained one-bedroom annex designed for comfort and relaxation. Just 400 metres from the coastal path and only two miles from Mwnt, it's an ideal base for discovering the beauty of Ceredigion and the North Pembrokeshire coastline.
Thoughtfully decorated to a high standard, the annex offers total privacy and features:
• A queen bedroom with en-suite shower room
• A fully equipped kitchen with built-in oven, hob, fridge (with freezer compartment), and dishwasher
• A bright and airy lounge with vaulted ceiling and Velux windows, creating a spacious, light-filled space to unwind
• A private deck facing west—perfect for watching the sunset over the bay
Step outside and you're surrounded by nature. To the east, the land slopes into a wooded gully; to the west, the cliffs drop to the rocky shoreline. The area is a haven for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts, with regular sightings of dolphins, seals, and rare birds like the red-billed chough. Every summer, house martins return from Africa to nest in the eaves.
For walkers, the coastal path runs directly through the farm, with many public footpaths offering routes through dramatic and varied landscapes. Mwnt is a short walk away, and Aberporth—with its beaches, pubs, and restaurants—is just three miles to the east.
Despite its tranquillity, Y Heddfan is just four miles from Cardigan (Aberteifi), where you’ll find a lively high street, independent cafés and restaurants, and convenient supermarkets including Tesco, Aldi, and B&M.
