Here is a tranquil community, close to the coastline, just a ten-minute drive from the Departure Bay ferry, where you can hear the ferry and seaplane passing by. It is a five-minute drive to Departure Bay Beach, Neck Point Park, and Lagoon Park.

Nice location, but could use a few more kitchen items for those staying long term. Having a microwave and cable tv would also be nice. Other than that, great stay, good communication. Thanks!

As noted the unit was clean and in a good location. The access was easy. But there still isn’t as of this writing a microwave. Additionally, the kitchen is not suitable for long stays. There is however, a full size fridge, a coffee maker and a toaster. Salt and pepper is not too much to ask for. The bed frame was enormous and left no room for a bedside table or lamp. And I’m sorry but that “sofa” really is in bad shape and needs replacing. It is not noted in the description but there are 24 steep steps down to the unit. If you have mobility issues this made it difficult. For one or two nights this is a good spot but not for longer without some needed changes. PS we did love seeing the deer wander into the lovely back yard.
