About this house rental
Steps away from the ocean for beach time, the marsh for kayaking, and many restaurants (for food you don't need to prep or clean up after), this home is an ideal vacation location. Set-up well for multiple families with a separate "kid zone" complete with beds, tv and games. Dogs will also want to tag along to enjoy the doggie door, fenced in yard and morning beach walks. A Level 2 electric car charger (J1772) is available Short (seasonal) trolley ride to Old Orchard Beach and approximately 20 minute drive to the Portland airport, restaurants, breweries.
The house is well equipped for cooking meals in and has a second fridge in the basement. Washer and dryer allow you to pack light. Please note we spend a lot of time cleaning between guests including exchanging or washing every bed quilt, throw blankets, mats, etc. We therefore do not provide sheets or towels. Please plan to bring your own. (We do leave hand and dish towels, hand/body soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, dog couch blankets, etc.).
We have two adult and two kids’ kayaks for use as well as clam shovels and basket to go clamming for steamers (if you want to harvest just grab a day pass at town hall). Lots of beach chairs, sand toys, floats, and yard games for your use at the beach and in the yard. Shower in the outdoor shower when weather permits and enjoy the propane grill and fire pit for night time cooking and hanging out.
So many memories just waiting to be made. Come visit.

Our stay at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough, Maine was absolutely exceptional — truly the best VRBO experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we could tell the hosts had put so much thought and care into every single detail. The home was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and instantly felt warm and welcoming. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome note, and it seemed like absolutely everything we could possibly need had already been anticipated — not only for us, but for our pet as well. The kitchen was well stocked, and little touches like the s’mores tray waiting on the counter made the experience feel extra special and memorable. Every detail was covered: paper towels, toilet paper, towels, kitchen essentials — everything was generously provided and organized so thoughtfully.One of the highlights for our family was the upstairs kids’ suite, which was perfect for my adult daughters. My 91-year-old father traveled with us, and the layout allowed him to comfortably rest downstairs while we could tuck away upstairs in the evenings to laugh, play games, and spend time together without disturbing him. It made the home feel incredibly functional and comfortable for a multigenerational family trip.The location to the beach was perfect! This home exceeded every expectation we had. The hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail were simply unmatched. We are so grateful for such a wonderful stay and would return again in a heartbeat.

This property is excellent and the attention to detail is appreciate (multi-phone charger, kyaks, beach wagon to tote chairs, smore items,). Nice neighborhood close to restaurants and a short walk to a great beach, fenced in back yard, pet friendly area.

Beautifully furnished house within a 5 minute walk from the beach. Our family and dogs loved the property, and we would absolutely stay here again!
