The marina also features the popular waterfront Dockside Grill—perfect for lakeside lunches or sunset dinners.
Tee off at The Greens at Deerfield, the resort's own 18-hole championship golf course, or stay active at the community’s outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. The property is excellent and clean. Pictures are accurate. The “resort” isn’t what I expected. Things I wish I knew: closest grocery store is round trip over an hour away, the resort market does not have much of anything, no food options except the tiki hut on the dock, a very steep walk down to boat dock, the neighborhood area seems unfinished with gravel roads and unfinished ditches and under maintained pool area. The house although is great. Plan ahead on food and maybe golf cart and I would stay again.

House was as described and what we expected. Very new and well kept with pretty much any amenity you could possibly need. View from the back decks was great. Beds were comfortable.
Having the boat slip down the hill is convenient. One warning would be to look into renting or bringing your own side-by-side UTV or golf cart as the trek up and down is significant. There is a small landing down the hill where you can park your car, but there's still a last hill to trek before you get to the slip. Smaller vehicles like golf carts have a parking area right at the dock entrance.
Would stay here again in a heart beat. We love this area of Norris and staying at the Klier house was a fantastic get-away.
