The place is well located in the center of Madeira, an ideal spot if you have a car to explore the island. The apartment was clean, well equipped with everything needed for a great stay, and just like in the photos. We received a very warm welcome and the instructions were clear. I highly recommend it. Thank you to the host for making our stay so pleasant!

It is a nice house. Clean. Would be nice to know before you book that there are people living above you. But that was not a problem. Owner response quickly. Good location.

We had a wonderful time - the apartment was beautifully clean and really well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils etc. Our host was also very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive in any way.
The views from the terrace are beautiful and we enjoyed being in a neighbourhood where there are very few tourists.
Our 1 year old had a lovely time running around on the terrace and it was very safe for him as it is totally enclosed with railings
Some things are not listed on Home Away, which may be useful for other guests - a cot is available if required, and there is also a washing machine.
It wasn't a problem to us, and in fact it added to the experience, but the only access to the apartment is via paths and steps as there is no road immediately adjacent to the property.
Overall, an excellent apartment and in a great location for accessing different areas of the island.
