For whatever reason, GPS takes you a mile or two past the entrance to the road to the house and makes a big circle back. Just beware of that.Bring 13-gallon size garbage bags because we only had one for the kitchen and it filled up fast with 13 people.We really enjoyed the dock, the kids loved the pool. Seeing that tide rise and lower is wild!

The property was great in terms of accommodating all of the guests and proximity to the activities we were involved in.Some of the guest rooms had filthy sheets upon check in and it was really off-putting.Overall though, we had a nice time at the property.

The view off the deck is absolutely stunning! Egrets, magpies, gulls, and of course fish. The men on our trip enjoyed fishing off the dock well into the night as the area was so well lit. There was a paddle board and canoe. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck which wrapped around the home to an area with 2 lovely rockers. Pool and hammock was a plus. Plenty of space. Location was ideal for a quick ride to Beaufort or Port Royal. State park with nature center, light house and a fishing pier. Dockside restaurant is a must! Owners VERY responsive to our needs.

House was set up great with upstairs and downstairs living ing areas. The beds were nice and comfortable. Proximity to both Charleston and Savannah with so much to see right in Beaufort. The pool was nice and clean and refreshing after a long day touring. Didn't do much cooking but kitchen looked stocked.
