The view off the deck is absolutely stunning! Egrets, magpies, gulls, and of course fish. The men on our trip enjoyed fishing off the dock well into the night as the area was so well lit. There was a paddle board and canoe. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck which wrapped around the home to an area with 2 lovely rockers. Pool and hammock was a plus. Plenty of space. Location was ideal for a quick ride to Beaufort or Port Royal. State park with nature center, light house and a fishing pier. Dockside restaurant is a must! Owners VERY responsive to our needs.

House was set up great with upstairs and downstairs living ing areas. The beds were nice and comfortable. Proximity to both Charleston and Savannah with so much to see right in Beaufort. The pool was nice and clean and refreshing after a long day touring. Didn't do much cooking but kitchen looked stocked.

We enjoyed a comfortable week overlooking the salt marsh on Lady’s Island between Beaufort and St. Helena Island, which was the perfect spot for day trips to Hunting Island State Park, Savannah, and local parks for walks and birding (we identified over 50 species of birds during the week!), as well as learning about the rich culture and history of the area. The house was spacious and comfortable for our multigenerational group, the kitchen well-equipped for preparing meals, games were available inside and out, there are plenty of couches and comfy chairs for relaxing, and the beds and linens were great. Our hosts were very responsive and offered suggestions for paddling in the area. We paddled in the marsh launching our kayaks from the dock, and enjoyed the pool and pool house, as well as the wraparound deck overlooking the marsh. We’d rent here again!

This property was perfect for us. We rented this house to attend my son’s graduation ceremony @ Parris Island Marine Corp. The location was perfect. 25 minutes away. Hilton head is only an hour away. The house was clean. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. We were very happy with this rental. I will stay again if I’m in the area.
