Serene Home on Perdido Bay-Hot Tub

Awesome place to stay. Convenient, plenty of room for us all, safe, fun, amenities were great. No wash clothes anywhere was the only downside. Had to buy some to wash counter tops, dishes and bath.

Great place to stay!

Our family of seven came in for a 48 hour weekend for my son’s wedding. This was a lovely home that fit our large group well and was close to the rehearsal dinner and wedding venue. The backyard was enjoyable and the pool table fun. I liked the master bedroom the best with a great view of the water. I believe the home has great potential, but was a bit sparse on supplies. It would have been nice to have some coffee and filters to get us started, as we came in late afternoon and went to the rehearsal soon thereafter. Unfortunately, there were a few hiccups. Be aware that the website description of amenities does not match what you will find. There were no blow dryers in any of the three bathrooms like advertised, nor was there an iron. When I asked about them, the host apologized and said I could go buy one and would be reimbursed. I had a 9 am wedding and shopping wasn’t in my schedule, nor did I feel it my responsibility to do so. I had to air dry my hair and it was still damp in the morning. In addition, the light over the dining room table didn’t work which made the kitchen area a bit dark. We were given a 50 refund which was nice, but didn’t help solve my current problems. With a little attention to details, this could be a really nice rental.

First just want to say the host was really nice and very responsive. The house has a lot of soft spots that def need to be fixed as it almost feels like the floor will give away. The AC went out day 2 host was in contact with my spouse as he was trying to remedy the issue. The host told us someone would be there Saturday to clean the AC drain as it’s clogged. No one showed up and Sunday morning the AC quit again so we all just got up and left by 0730. The lawn has a lot of ant hills so playing in The yard with little ones isn’t an option. Hot tub looked nice and clean we did not use it as it was hot outside. We thought we left our child’s stuffy and the owner was super helpful and sent us a pic of what they found after we left. We ended up having the stuffy in our vehicle but was appreciative they looked for it and messaged us back.
