About this house rental
Relax with an incredible Lake Avalon view here in Northwest Arkansas with so much to do including Crystal Bridges, ice skating, beautiful light displays in multiple nearby cities, plays and performances, riding or hiking the multi-use trails and enjoying a plethora of restaurant options. Great place for a large group of bikers, golfers, museum goers, families, etc. Beautiful Lake Avalon can be seen from the living room on both levels, both of which have a fireplace and a kitchen. The whole house has been updated with new floors, new paint and an expanded kitchen. Enjoy easy stone step access to the water's edge just 20 yards from the covered back porch. The screened balcony has 180 degree lake views. Amenities include an 8' x 24' floating swimming and fishing dock, gas and charcoal grills, porch furniture for lounging, fire pit with seating and 2 kayaks to paddle down the no wake lake to the park with a sandy beach, horseshoe pits, volley ball, and more. Perfect for small family reunions, getaways, shopping weekends, golf outings, tennis tournaments and biking/hiking adventures. Whether you are coming for an International Mountain Bike Convention, a visit to Crystal Bridges, or day trips in the Ozark Mountain area, this place will be new favorite your home away from home.
Located just 1 hr 30 min from Branson, 45 minutes from Eureka Springs, 35 minutes from Fayetteville and 15 minutes from Bentonville, it is the perfect retreat for Razorback games, Craft Fairs (October and May) , Bikes Blues and BBQ Rallies (September), and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art events . Silver Dollar City, Gentry Wild Wilderness Drive through Zoo, The Passion Play, and Ozark Mountain Hiking trails. These options and more make perfect day trips. Enjoy the wonderful local restaurants and pubs in downtown Bentonville and Rogers with shopping nearby at Pinnacle Mall and other local vendors.
In addition to the 4 bedrooms that include 2 queen beds, one king and one twin trundle and bunk beds, the upstairs living room has a single pull out bed in the ottoman which can be moved to the screened in porch on a nice night. The downstairs living room has a futon that lays back to accommodate 1 adult or 2 children, I have provide an extra mattress topper in the closet to make that more comfortable. In the downstairs kitchen, 3 waffle irons and electric skillet are available for a breakfast gathering . Kids can watch a movie in the trundle room while adults enjoy an outdoor fire and stargazing. A pack and play and a baby feeding seat is available. NOTE: The driveway is fairly steep but easy to get used to. In order to have a short walk to the lake you have to have a steeper driveway to negotiate. There are 2 parking spaces along the road for those less adventurous.
