The house could not be better situated: quiet, but close enough to town and nested in the lovely dunes. At this price point you expect that everything works seamlessly, but this wasn't not the case: the sliding door leading to the deck did not work correctly and the windows in the king bed room on the second floor wouldn't open due to "parts on order". That's just not acceptable. Other parts of the house feel a bit run down (first floor bath especially) but that's manageable. While we were disappoint that the agency couldn't accommodate a request for a one-hour delay on departure, they were kind enough to reach out promptly when one of our guests left their wallet in the bedroom.

The value in this rental is the location. During our stay there were two broken windows that could only close manually, one in a bedroom that forced us into one of the other rooms. Curtains were dusty, carpet is old. The kitchen was nice and so was the fireplace and large windows facing west. For $700 per night we would expect this house to be in better condition.
