Off the beaten path, in quiet area of Arch Cape – welcome to Shutterbug!
This spacious home has plenty to recommend it for large groups. When you arrive at Shutterbug you'll be welcomed by an inviting deck with glimpses of the ocean that's only a block away.
You'll walk in to a welcoming living room with a fireplace and plenty of seating to drop into after a long day on the beach. The living area is open to the dining room and the kitchen for an expanded great room feel.
Downstairs are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the laundry room. The first bedroom is around the corner from the living room and features a king bed with a TV. The second bedroom, at the opposite end of the hall, has a queen bed. The third downstairs bedroom has just a twin bed and has been decorated with children in mind. Since the twin bedroom is half way between the other two bedrooms it's a great spot for a little one that still needs mom and dad close.
The two bathrooms are both on this level, one with a shower and one that has a bathtub. The laundry room has a fullsized washer and dryer.
Upstairs is a huge open family room with a couple of futons if someone needs a nap! Great place for a movie or board games. On the other side from family room is a large dormitory bedroom. With 3 twin beds, 1 queen bed and a futon there's plenty of space for slumber party!

This was everything we expected from a modest beach house. Definitely enough space to stretch out a small family and the upstairs play / sleep area for the kids was a plus. The beach is a little bit of a walk, but made up for it by being very chill compared to the beaches nearer to town. There was a little bit of noise from the road though it wasn't a problem at night.

This was our first time in Oregon and it was beautiful! My father in-law has stage 4 cancer and he wanted to do one more salmon fishing trip… so we booked here! The property is so cute and walking distance to the beach! The neighborhood is quiet and clean! We felt like we were in the middle of everything…from Tillamook to Astoria! The property manager was easy to communicate with as we only had one issue of not being able to use the dishwasher! They responded immediately! We hope to come back in the summertime! Thanks for helping us make memories!

Took the whole family out west to visit the Oregon coast.
Arch Cape: First off this is an amazing place to stay if you want to visit Cannon Beach but don't want to pay Cannon Beach prices. The beach here is every bit as amazing and almost completely empty. Cannon Beach is a 5 min drive away.
The property was great. Good gathering area on the first floor. AMAZING upper floor for kids. My daughter loved running around up there. They included books and toys for the kids which was great. The property was clean, they welcomed us with coffee, were responsive to questions. Easily a 5 star review. The property is pretty close to the highway but still feels private. The beach is a 2 minute walk away.
