Gatlinburg Chateau 402 is a beautiful 2BR condo and a short walk to downtown

Rooms were clean but dated and new mattresses are needed, furniture smelled musky. The view was cool looking over the 'Burg's downtown at night and my granddaughter thought finding bear paw prints on the car windows was awesome.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location. We were on the second floor but we had a view of all of Gatlinburg and the town was beautifully light in Christmas lights. The condo was clean and well supplied. The decor makes the condo feel cozy and comfortable. I will rent #201 again.

The location and the property itself was actually very nice and a great location we would stay at the same location again. However the host never once responded to my messages, the living room lamp and was, me of the bedroom lamps didn’t have the turn off knob (you had to plug and unplug it to even have a light in the room) and the main ac unit had mold in it and one of the rooms had mild on the ac unit as well. Kind of disappointing and very disgusting. Definitely not worth the money we paid considering there was mold throughout the condo.
