The last four kilometres are the most beautiful: we have now covered the 750 km from Bremen and are in the middle of the great forests of Småland. We turn off the main road and drive along the small gravel trackThe glitter and sparkle of Bysjön can be seen between the trees and rocks.First we go onto the footbridge and look out over the lake.Then we turn round and look at our house - finally we are here.Enjoy the peace and quiet and nature in the Swedish forests and lakes.The rustic holiday home is located on a system of three interconnected lakes slightly elevated on the lakeshore, so you can enjoy a wonderful lake view. It is not located in a holiday settlement, but on a small gravel road (dead end) with only a few other houses and offers space for two people and has a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine, satellite TV (German), stereo, sauna, jetty, rowing boat, canoe, wood stove, electric heating, etc. The holiday home is situated directly on the lake in the heart of Småland, on the edge of the Glass Kingdom, in the middle of Astrid Lindgren's world of Bullerby, Lönneberga and Katthult. Here you can go swimming, fishing, rowing or canoeing. Or you can go moose stalking in the huge forests... A wonderful moose park is only 4 km away! The nearest small town is Målilla and it is about 35 km to the east coast to Oskarshamn. The birthplace of Astrid Lindgren, Vimmerby, is 3o km away. Here you are on the edge of the glass kingdom. The famous Swedish glassworks of Kosta are easily accessible by car, and in 2016 the kitchen was extended by a whole 4 metres and fitted with large floor-to-ceiling windows, so that you now have a wonderful view of the lake from the dining table. rowing boat, canoe and sauna included in the price!
