About this apartment rental
La Tortuga #7 is located on the third level (two above the ground floor) overlooking the pool and the sparkling waters of Akumal's Half Moon Bay beyond! This spacious and nicely appointed condo features 2 bedrooms. Master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a king and a single bed. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with shower and nice Mexican tile detail. The master bedroom also has a giant sunken bathtub. It has a large open-plan living and dining area with sliders that open out onto the terrace, affording great views out over the bay. The living room has comfortable seating and a TV. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a breakfast bar for extra dining seating. There is WiFi internet throughout the condo and air conditioning.
Outside on the expanded, ocean facing terrace, there is a table and chairs for relaxing, alfresco dining, and generally enjoying the warm Caribbean climate and spectacular views of the bay. There is a balcony off the guest bedroom facing the mangroves. This is the only unit in the building with this feature.
Hacienda de La Tortuga boasts a very nice beach side pool, an onsite gourmet restaurant (La Lunita), and plenty of sun loungers and shady palapas on the white sandy beach in front. There is also WiFi access all the way out to the beach for those who like to stay connected while working on their tan!
Hacienda de la Tortuga is located in the northern central part of Half Moon Bay, within walking distance of plenty of amenities including the Akumal Adventures dive shop. The bay in front of the condo is great for snorkeling as the reef comes very close to the shore, and it is home to a wide diversity of marine life including endangered sea turtles!
Hacienda de la Tortuga #7 is comfortable and bright, and a perfect option for small families or groups of friends.

Our stay was amazing, we arrived late and the security guard gave us our key and showed us the condo. The condo was very clean, large it had everything you need. There was a large box full of beach toys and snorkelling equipment. The view was the best and you could hear the waves from the ocean from our room. The manager even extended our check out time by an hour. We would stay there again.

The condos are very nice and comfortable. We rented two condos to accommodate our family. The restaurant on the main floor was very good and very convenient. There is also a great restaurant across the street that is open for breakfast and lunch. The views are excellent and the site management is very helpful and accommodating. The only issue we had is that our son is disabled and has a hard time with stairs. There is not an elevator so I would have rented lower floor units if I had realized he would have had to walk up. But that was only a minor issue for our son.

Good location on Half Moon Bay with an awesome coffee place across the street. The unit is spacious and super clean and was cleaned every morning. The unit is dated and could use a refresh but overall it worked well for two people.

Location is great, daily cleaning like a hotel, apartment spacious though dated and in need of renovation with no laundry facilities neither in the apartment nor hotel premises. Privacy limited to 2ppl, so for a couple it's great, but for family I would go elsewhere. The balcony is a hazard for kids younger than 3 as they can slip out of the gaps so only ground floor for youngsters. Corals look pretty on Half Moon Bay, but are sore to walk on even with coral shoes as the sea slams them into your ankles, and young kids fall over hourly with cuts from the sharp rocks. Snorkel value maybe 3*. Personally I would recommend Puerto Aventuras (by the dolphins), a much nicer experience.
