About this apartment rental
Luna Azul Condominium, Unit #6. Fresh, bright and very cute! This third level unit offers exceptional views of Half Moon Bay and the Caribbean beyond. The beachside terrace is a perfect place to watch the sea turtles feeding and playing in the bay, schools of tropical fish, osprey, pelicans and other marine wildlife. The breezes come off the bay and all is quiet and private. The interior is well appointed and very comfortable for guests.
The unit offers a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and all appliances that you may need to prepare your own meals or enjoy snacks and cold drinks on the beach. Off of the kitchen is the dining area with seating for five. From the living and dining areas you can enjoy the view of Half Moon Bay through a wall of windows and sliding doors leading to the beachside terrace. The terrace is furnished with hammock and table and chairs for you to enjoy the breezes and sounds of the surf.
To the rear of the unit are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is spacious and private with large master bath and king bed. In the master bedroom there is a large television with SKY Satellite service offering programming in both English and Spanish. The guest bedroom is furnished with one double bed and one single bath and enjoys a private bath. AC in bedrooms and living area.
Luna Azul is one of our favorite condominium properties. It has a great central location within walking distance to Akumal's Yal-Ku Lagoon, restaurants and other services. The management here is excellent and always takes great care of our guests.

The condo was very comfortable with a wonderful view of the water, right in the middle of the curve of Half Moon Bay. The beach area was very nice with shade and lounge chairs for the condo. Entry to the water was rocky in most areas but could be navigated with care and the snorkeling was excellent. We saw lots of fish, some rays and one turtle. We did not have a car but were able to walk 5-20 minutes for dining and some shopping and there is a convience store practically across the street. We also arranged a couple of excursions (highly recomend Cenote Santa Cruz) and airport transportation through the property concierge.

We spent a lovely week here. The place was super clean and the daily cleanings were an unexpected bonus. Lots of space, especially for only 2 adults. Loved the little living space by all the windows facing the ocean and the beautiful quaint balcony. You could hear the ocean throughout the unit when windows were open. Snorkeling right in the bay was fantastic along with the local cenote. No crowds at the beach. 2 nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk on either side and many others a just a little longer walk down the road. All open air restaurants with very kind service. The property managers were very responsive when asked any questions via the app and a night guardsman greeted us immediately with the key to our place when we first arrived later after dark on our first night. The tiny food mart not far down the street was convenient and the filtered water provided in the unit was much appreciated. We felt very safe and relaxed the whole time. Thank you!
