Escape to the historical Grey Gables mansion a stunning queen Anne style home built in oops 1888.This wonderful 7-bedroom gem in Richford VT. This brilliant house boasts 4 queen beds, 2 full beds, and 3 twin beds, perfect for large groups or families. With 5 and a half bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, you'll never have to wait in line. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Richford. This retreat offers 19th century charm. With some modern upgrades, providing the perfect setting for family or friends getaway. Pets are allowed for $100 per pet with a maximin of 2. In the winter we are a short drive to ski Jay Peak and ice skating across the road in the park. In warmer weather Jay Peak has a water park. There are nearby, hiking and biking trails and also canoe and kayaking in the river across the road by the park.

The house itself is a beautiful piece of history. The area in which it's located -- in Richford, Vermont, on the Missisqui River -- is interesting because it is also very steeped in history, going back to the early, Colonial era of French and English conflict, and including wilderness settlement and small-town New England's industrial development through America's first 150 years.The house is also very accommodating for large groups like ours, an extended family that stayed through a long weekend. With its many bedrooms, each with its own full bath and a Roku television, the house provides a lot of privacy for everyone, while also providing spacious and functional group areas that bring everyone together.During our stay, the property manager was always quick to respond and very helpful.

This is a spacious and beautiful house that accommodates 15 people. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. There is skating across the street and Jay Peak ski resort is a half hour drive. The house has ping pong and pool tables for entertainment. Bedding (including warm blankets) and towels are provided and are clean. It was very cold in Vermont during the three days we stayed (high temperatures of 10F) and the first floor was drafty, probably due to older but beautiful (glass stained) windows. The heating system was in good working condition and the bedrooms were warm. There were a few things that could be repaired. Our group of 14 people enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Jeffrey!
