We stayed at PMR on Oct 14-16. Our beautiful cabin was spacious for family of 4. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen has all the essential supplies we need. Bed is big and comfy. Hot shower made us feel great after our whole day hiking. Staff were very warm and helpful. We has some small issues and got solved right away. This resort has perfect location for our family vacation. We had great time.
A bit pricey since it is peak Fall colors time.

Fires that start 30 minutes before sunset; harder to schedule but would have been preferred.

This property is AMAZING!! I honestly can't say enough nice this about this property and Bobbie-Sue. We stayed in a cabin on the pond and it's the best cabin we've ever stayed in. Kitchen was really nice and allowed time to enjoy watching the sunrise on our little porch. The nightly bonfire was very nice and we also really enjoyed feeding the goats! The laundry facilities were very nice (change maching and could purchase soap). We hated leaving this property but will be back
The only thing we didn't like was leaving :( Would have stayed much longer if we could.

This is not really a "resort". It is a sprawling camp with cabins of many sizes. The lady who runs the place is delightful and helpful. The cabins are very clean. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of linens and great pillows. There was a full-sized dresser to put clothing away. There is a living area - small but serviceable, with TV, couch, chair, small table and a kitchenette. Kitchen was well equipped with tableware, etc. The location was away from the major touristy sections near the parks and mountain hikes, but a close drive away. The little town of Bethlehem is charming with several excellent places to eat. We did not have children with us, but the camp seems really wonderful for families in the summer. There are two large playgrounds, a lake and boats and an outdoor swimming pool. Heating and A/C were very good. Bathroom was basic but fine (could use more shelves or places to put toiletries.)
NO COFFEE!! You can have instant (there was a kettle) or trot up to the gift shop where the manager will pour you a cup to go from a drip coffee maker. Even the most basic motels have a Keurig in the room! Instead, the kitchen has a full size fridge which would be nice except there is literally no room to really prep or cook anything so why bother with the big fridge? The counter was covered by a very large microwave -- again, why such a big unit? On top of the microwave was a two-burner set up for cooking. We just didn't bother and had breakfast at a lovely coffee shop in town. (The Maia Papaya -- fabulous place) and ate out at a selection of other places. In addition -- there is a nightstand on only one side of the bed, which is inconvenient for one person. Our cabin was next to a highway, so there were vehicles whizzing by starting early in the morning until night. Also unpaved dirt roads throughout the camp and lots of potholes. When rainy, it's a bit muddy (we were there in October). Again... expect a campground, not a resort.
