Located 4kms from Lantriac at an altitude of 850 m, Rochaubert is below a basalt cliff sheltering ancient cave dwellings. It is a typical Velay village with a mission cross dated 1689 and a house of assembly recognizable by its bell whose sound once rhythmed the daily life of the country. Built in volcanic stones, the house in which we welcome you is a traditional vellave farm. It is located at the very end of the village, sheltered from nuisance from the neighborhood. The interior has just been renovated with a concern for functionality and modernity. From the garden planted with local essences, the view is surprising, between sky, mountains, nature and volcanoes ...
