Just 1 km from Aubeterre-sur-Dronne – ranked the 14th most beautiful village in France – this charming holiday home offers the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The village is known for housing the tallest monolithic church in Europe and lies along the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. Located between Périgueux and Angoulême, on the edge of the Dordogne region, the property is ideally situated for exploring the area and enjoying a wide range of activities.
The Accommodation
Perched above the village, the gîte offers peaceful surroundings with sweeping views of the countryside.
The ground floor features a bright living and dining area, along with a guest toilet. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen leads to a utility room with a washing machine.
Upstairs, a central dressing area connects three bedrooms:
-One bedroom with a double bed (140 cm)
-One bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm)
-One bedroom with two single beds (90 cm)
-Each bedroom is equipped with a television. The house is fully air-conditioned to ensure year-round comfort.
The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and a second toilet.
Outdoor Space
A large terrace allows you to enjoy the beautiful landscape, and the tree-lined garden, measuring approximately 3000 m², is perfect for relaxing. A quiet country lane leads directly to the nearby river for leisurely walks or a refreshing dip.
Access and Parking
The gîte adjoins the main house but is entirely independent. Guests have full access to the house and a dedicated section of the garden. You can unload your luggage directly in front of the entrance, then park your vehicle in a private space located beside the property.
