A fantastic apartment on the first floor of the Old Barn at the Stenzinger Farm.
Where hay used to be stored, there is now 85 square meters of space—featuring lots of wood, exposed beams, sloped ceilings, and skylights—perfect for a wonderful vacation for 4 people; for an additional fee, and by using the sleeper sofa, it can even accommodate up to 6 people.
The separate, spacious, glass-enclosed entrance, which offers a magnificent view of the adjacent meadow from inside.
The hayloft features an open living area, a separate bedroom, and a separate bathroom.
The open living area features a well-equipped built-in kitchen, a dining area, a spacious seating area with a sleeper sofa (sleeping surface 130 cm x 200 cm), and a large flat-screen TV, as well as an open, raised sleeping area with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm).
The separate, cozy bedroom features a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), a flat-screen TV, and a skylight.
The unique bathroom in the hayloft features a walk-in shower, a double sink, a toilet, a skylight, and a fantastic view of our farm through a permanently glazed hay hatch.
Most of the windows in this apartment are equipped with roller shades and insect screens.
At the foot of the outdoor staircase is this apartment’s terrace—with seating and a lovely view, it’s a wonderful spot for relaxing.

As early as 1926, the Stenzinger family welcomed their first vacation guests here on Mühlspreeweg in Burg Spreewald.
Since the fall of 2020, we—the Urban family—have been fortunate enough to call this historic, beautiful farmstead our own, and we look forward to welcoming you for a wonderful vacation.
Nestled in the countryside, with a large garden, its own boathouse, and a dock right on the Spree, our Haus Stenzinger is a vacation paradise... a place for the soul!
For all kinds of activities—by bike, on foot, or by boat— this is the perfect starting point, because the trail begins right at our front door!
We’d be happy to rent you our in-house paddleboats for wonderful tours on the Spree and its widely branching tributaries, the romantic Fließen.
Canoe rentals right on the property!
Our vacation apartments are perfectly equipped for a relaxed start to your day—each one features a well-stocked kitchen.
However, you’re welcome to book the “All-Inclusive Breakfast Experience” as an add-on; you’ll then enjoy a small, exquisite buffet featuring fresh delicacies from our kitchen and high-quality ingredients from our region.
Two free parking spaces are available for each vacation rental, and you can leave your car there with confidence until the end of your vacation, as public transportation and various shopping options are just a few minutes’ walk away.
The charming little town center of Burg is just a short walk away and awaits you with a variety of shops and cozy cafés.
Make yourself comfortable on the patios in our beautiful garden, cool off on hot days right in the Spree River right outside our door, or simply enjoy your time and the view from our charming apartments into the idyllic countryside of the Spreewald...
Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
