Walk to Dotonbori, center of Osaka

The check in was a bit confusing. The host asked for pictures of our passports (which is usually required) but it asked the same day to be done via the Expedía app otherwise the code to enter the apartment will not be given. All of this 10 minutes prior to our arrival. The Expedia app does not allow to take or attach pictures. When we asked for an email or a phone number, we receive a number which the area code belonged to a country different than the one we were staying. I would recommend to have some heads up before hand to avoid confusion. At first we thought we were being scam, which later on we realized it was not the case. After that, everything went great. 10 min to th3 metro station, Kuromon market and Dotonbori. Excellent and easy to walk around. There is a Family mart 1 block away.

The walk was further than advertised but overall the apartment had good space, options for sleep on the bed and futon, although there was no additional pillow case if you needed the 3rd pillow in the apartment. The two pillows for the bed were quite thin but this was an issue we had in multiple Japanese accommodations. The host was very responsive, I asked for location details prior to getting the address and was given an accurate estimate so I could plan my trip accordingly! The unit has a washer but no dryer but we were able to hang our stuff to dry. We didnt use the kitchen appliances to provide feedback but the microwave was helpful for warming some items. We would have appreciated a toaster since there is no oven. The bathroom toiletries were sufficient and good quality. Overall would recommend to others to stay here, great value for the price.
