About this house rental
Originally built in 1890 and moved to its location current location in 1920. The original log cabin serves as the living room now. The house has been completely remodeled and updated on inside. New furniture, cabinets, beds, paint, floors and amenities. All new! Just a few minutes from the secluded shores on Lake Michigan, Lake McDonald and Gulliver Lake. 15 minutes away from historic Manistique. Only about an hour from Mackinac Island. Same for Pictured Rocks. Sightseeing or just relaxing under the stars, it's all here. Unwind in Gulliver at this adorable house. With 2 nice upstairs bedrooms featuring queen beds and a bathroom stocked with the essentials, this cozy retreat is perfect for guests looking for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, pots/pans, coffee pot, heating, AC, and WiFi during your stay. A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay.

This rental exceeded our expectations! It was incredibly spacious and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel just like home. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we loved the selection of games for family fun. The beds were also very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Kitchen setup was very thoughtful ,accommodating and well stocked with everything we needed. House was very clean and comfortable. The pups enjoyed the dog beds. Plus in a very convenient location

Overall impression: Photo's look great on line! Attention to detail is mixed. Some details are way above average like the kitchen, bathroom mirror, and furniture while others, paint, trim, and cosmetic finishes are lacking a bit. If details do not bother you, this is an amazing place to stay as you explore the UP.They graciously allowed pets. No back door made it a little challenge for dogs, but we did fine as the road in front of the house is not terribly busy. A huge deciding factor in choosing this property was the furniture! I have to sleep in a recliner and this was so amazing to have so many options! Hubby slept on the couch rather than upstairs and we slept very well. Get any groceries in Manistique. There is a gas station in Gulliver but that's all. Great place! Great communication with Ben. We enjoyed ourselves very much!
