About this house rental
The maisonette en Provence is a cosy place for a stay dedicated to holidays and idleness. Located in a small private and secure residence, you will enjoy a pleasant environment with a view of Mont-Ventoux, a private parking space and a large communal swimming pool (15m x 6m) with a small bath for children. Ideally located, access to the city center is on foot to discover Vaison la Romaine, a cultural city with its shops, restaurants, market and Provence scenery. For cyclists, a bicycle garage is at your disposal and Mont Ventoux is waiting for you.
This charming maisonette is designed for 3 people (sorry for our animal friends but they are not allowed). On the first floor a living room with lounge area and equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven) opening directly onto the terrace. Upstairs a pleasant bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a single bed and a shower room. A large terrace not overlooked with 3 different spaces: a lounge area, a sunbathing area and a dining area under a shaded pergolas with BBQ area (planchas).
The little house is ready to receive you, towels are provided (bath and towels, dish towels) as well as household linen (duvets, sheets and protections) and the base for cooking. A welcome aperitif will be at your disposal to start a pleasant stay in our little corner of paradise.

We had a lovely holiday in Vaison exploring the Roman remains and the surrounding area, and sampling the excellent local wine.
The property itself is very pleasant with a private garden and barbecue area and access to a shared swimming pool (which does get quite busy at times but is very well maintained). It is a gated close about 20 minutes walk from the town centre in a very quiet part of town. The host, Cendrine, is really friendly and helpful but not intrusive.
Vaison has a lot to offer in terms of history and culture as well as being a useful base for exploring, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in town as well as a huge market on a Tuesday.
Thoroughly recommended.
