About this house rental

House with 2 stars located in a holiday village type residence, with a magnificent view of the spectacular Mont Ventoux which rises to 1920m above sea level. House equipped with reversible air conditioning, which can operate in heating mode or in cooling mode by a heat pump. Economic system. Access to the residence by an electric gate, opening onto a central alley going up to the magnificent entrance porch of the large 15mx6m swimming pool, usable from 01/05 to 30/09. Alleyways on either side of the central lane provide access to the villas. Villa number 12 is very easy to find, at the end of the second driveway to the left of the central lane. You are welcomed by its garden terrace with outdoor lighting. You will find Provençal plants with rosemary and thyme which can be pruned sparingly only to be used to flavor grilled dishes cooked on an electric barbecue. You also have lavender for its smell and other Provencal flowers. During your stay you can set up the garden furniture which can be stored in the garage. The garage is very useful for the car or for touring cyclists, for storing bikes. In winter, it is possible to ski on the slopes of Mont Ventoux between 1400 and 1800m above sea level. In the garden, living room, with flat screen TV and its furniture, coffee table, internet box for free wifi individually, sofa bed convertible into double beds of 140x190. American kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, hob, electric oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, fridge freezer, toilet and storage locker with coat rack. Upstairs, secure hall with fire alarm and large closet serving 1 bedroom with its closet and 1 140 cm bed 2 bedside tables, 1 baby cot. 1 bedroom with 1 set of 2 bunk beds of 90, 1 bed of 90 and 1 bedside table, these 3 beds facilitate the sleeping of 3 children comfortably in the same room. Bathroom with sink, bathtub and storage unit equipped with a hairdryer. You will have an electric barbecue to use in the GARDEN with terrace and its garden furniture and sunbathing. . For the Pentecost weekend you can attend the flower parade of Vaison La Romaine allowing shows throughout the weekend, a free and pleasant distraction for young and old. There is even a parade of floats at night.
Once a month, for lovers of old objects, do not miss the flea market in Vaison. Every Tuesday a huge Provencal market monopolizes all the streets and squares of the village. You will find: clothes, kitchen utensils, olive oils from Provence, more particularly, olive oil from NYONS. Dishes from all sources, local specialties, very good Provencal charcuterie, honeys of different flavors, Provence herbs, very good fruits and vegetables that have reached maturity under the Provence sun. Every Saturday morning come and shop for fruits and vegetables
at the stalls of local producers on the village square.
For July 14, come and watch the splendid fireworks display from a site of remains of Roman ruins.
Regularly come and watch the song performances from the stands of the ancient Roman theater. At regular intervals, there are CHORALIES of VAISON la ROMAINE
Immerse yourself in Roman civilization by visiting the various ruin sites
Roman. Visit the medieval city dating from the sixteenth century.
From the residence you can go by walking to the center of Vaison where a multitude of Provencal shops are grouped. The town center is located 1.1 km from the holiday village, it is easy to walk to get there.
Do not hesitate to discover or even rediscover the Haut-Vaucluse where Vaison La Romaine is located and its surrounding villages, each one more beautiful than the other. You will be in a wine region, where you can visit the cellars of producers of Côtes du Rhône or Côtes du Ventoux, taste and buy very good vintages of red or rosé white wines. You will not be far from the Luberon regional natural park where there are a multitude of sites to visit, each one more beautiful than the next. The region is rich in long-distance hiking trails, do not hesitate to go through them to discover the Provencal vegetation and breathe the smells of aromatic plants that you may meet. If you like walking, don't forget to hydrate regularly and have adequate protection against solar radiation. You are not very far from the Mediterranean Sea, count about 1h30 to 2h of road according to your destination to have your feet in the big blue. By the A9 motorway it is easy to reach Le GRAU-du-ROI, La GRANDE MOTTE, you will be at the gates of the Camargue. Do not forget to visit Aigues-Mortes an ancient fortified town. Other Roman remains not to be missed, the Pont du GARD located about 70km. Via the A7, A8, A52, A50 motorways to the Calanques region, towards CASSIS.

This was our fifth visit to Vaison and we've stayed in other houses in the Clos development. This house was slightly bigger and had the benefit of air-con, which was very well received! We also enjoyed the larger garden. The Clos is in an excellent location with a fantastic pool. Great value for money - we definitely recommend this property.

Comfortable house in a quiet private residence. Very friendly owners. They speak English, which is helpful for non-french people like my family and I. Very good price/quality ratio too. The town has all the amenities you need, including 4 supermarkets, nice restaurants and a huge market held on tuesday morning. Beautiful surroundings. Recommended!
