Welcome to your Northwoods retreat at beautiful Lakeside Pines on Pickerel Lake. If you’re looking for the ideal vacation home with stunning views, level frontage, and sandy-bottom swimming, Lakeside Pines is the cabin for you and your family.
Nestled in the heart of the Northwoods, this four-bedroom, two bath home cabin is charmingly decorated and sits on 255 feet of lake frontage. The cabin is located just five minutes southwest of downtown St. Germain, allowing you to enjoy the relaxation and privacy of your lake-front rental home, while providing convenient access to the bustling downtown where great dining, shopping, and fun-filled activity options await.
The main level of Lakeside Pines features a brand-new addition, nearly doubling the common space. Here you will find a large great room living area, a dining room with seating for 11, a fully appointed kitchen, one bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. The great living room serves as the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful lake views. A 65” smart TV above a beautiful gas fireplace keeps everyone warm and busy on rainy days,
Enjoy easy access to the backyard via a large sliding glass door that opens directly onto the large deck and patio. The backyard includes a fire pit and picnic table, perfect for cookouts and campfires. The upper level of the home has a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a walkout balcony that overlooks the lake. The second upstairs bedroom features a second queen bed and shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the other bedroom. A massive bonus space above the garage serves as an extra-large bedroom that has one queen bed, two twin beds, and a futon bed. Both bathrooms at Lakeside Pines have been recently remodeled.
Lakeside Pines encourages guests to hit the water while visiting. While you can rent or bring your own boat, two kayaks and a canoe are also available for guests to utilize during their stay. If you decide to rent or bring your own motor-boat, the boat launch can be found just down the road from Lakeside Pines’ driveway. Take a trip around the 750-acre lake while observing all the wildlife that the Great North has to offer. Eagles, loons, and deer are regular visitors.
If fishing interests you, Pickerel Lake is a fisherman’s paradise. You can fish right from the pier for northern, musky, walleye, and panfish.
Lakeside Pines can be enjoyed year-round as guests can bike, hike, fish, swim, tube, water ski, or snowmobile right outside the back door. This home equips you with everything you need to make lasting memories at the lake.

We had a fantastic time together. The yard was excellent especially for our two dogs . And just lounging. We loved the location. The bedroom above the garage that had multiple beds in it was a tad bit tricky for me. There is a larger than normal step up to the bed that I actually tripped up on. And was scary for me at nighttime. I was told that it had a door that closed it off for privacy but it did not. It worked for my husband and I but could not persuade anyone else in our group to stay up there. Everything else was awesome and we would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time at Lakeside Pines, we really enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and evening sunsets. Having the kayaks available for use was very nice. We enjoyed the wildlife and peacefulness of the north woods. Already looking forward to next year!

Accomodations couldn't have been better for our family of 14. The lodging checked all of our boxes, 3 bedrooms and a large lofted area for our 6 grandkids. The lake was wonderful for swimming by the pier and it handled all 3 of our boats. Plenty room between the house and the lake to play in as weel as a very nice fire pit for night time entertainment. The 4 kayaks were a big hit with the whole family. The house is fully furnished for all needs in the kitchen. NO Mosquitos as it has a mosquito service. Kids caught lots of fish to include perch, bluegills, bass and northern pike.

Quiet, peaceful location yet close to St. Germain and Minocqua. Nicely updated cabin. Not a great lake for fishing, unfortunately. Mattresses are pretty uncomfortable and the primary bedroom upstairs with the balcony has a skylight right over the bed. If you're coming here for a vacation in the summer, be prepared to be awakened at about 4am. Who wants that when they're on vacation???? During our stay that was a major issue, plus we woke to a hornet crawling on us and also in the skylight. Maintenance came soon after we called, but the nest was so high they couldn't remove it, could only spray it. Sounded like it had been an issue previously when we called. The kitchen needs some serving spoons and a few ceramic serving bowls that are microwavable. If all these issues were fixed, we'd stay here again!
