About this house rental
This is a very relaxed private cottage, set on the foreshore of Waub's Bay, adjacent to the park, with only the fine white granite sand dunes separating you and the aquamarine crystal clear waters of Tasmania's East Coast.
The outlook from the cottage is always beautiful. Orange lichen covered granite rocks, brightly painted fishing boats anchored in the Bay, with Diamond Island and the 10 kilometre white sand fringe of Denison Beach backed by the Aspley Gorge Mountain range within view.Over summer fairy penguins nest in the dunes in front of the cottage.
It has a well equipped kitchen coupled with a big round table for dining. This cottage is still intimate for a couple but easily accommodates a family, even a large family.
The cottage is located only 250 metres away from the restaurants and the shops.

This is our second time back at the cottage and it was just as amazing as the first time. Heather is a lovely host. The property is beautiful and at the doorstep of Waubs bay. The picnic table in the back overlooking the bay is spectacular. We will be back very soon. Thanks Heather.

It was the perfect place to spend the week as a family. Heather looked after us and made the place look amazing for our arrival. We had everything we needed and we loved the style and cosy the house was.Perfection!!

Warm and welcoming with many special touches and excellent furnishings, crockery, glassware, linens and fully equipped food cupboards. Fresh flower arrange -ments in every room. Lovely quiet location with great view and close to all shops etc. The main problem for us (both 84 with arthritis and balance issues) was steps between rooms and a big drop between the 2 living areas without a proper hand rail. Uneven drops from different levels of the decks outside too. However, we managed it reasonably and will very probably return, it was so nice!
