About this house rental
The holiday home Casa Sul consists of an open living room with kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The house is attached to our other property, Casa Poente and surrounded by gardens. In front of the door there is a beautiful south-facing terrace. In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth.
The location:
Our property is located on a hill overlooking the valley and is surrounded by cork oaks and pine forests. You can take beautiful walks in nature directly from the house. The first beaches and the wonderful nature reserve of the west coast are only 5 - 10 minutes away by car and can also be reached by bike. The two places Aljezur or Rogil are 5-10 minutes away by car and offer all necessary shopping facilities from the fish market to the supermarket as well as restaurants, banks and basic medical care. On the property we keep 2 cats and chickens, which are always an attraction especially for children.
We, Heike and Klaus Mader, have been living in Portugal since 1993 and will be happy to tell you which are the best beaches and the most beautiful excursion destinations.

The electricity and hot water supply is largely covered by self-generated solar energy, providing a sustainable stay.

We spent a week in Casa Sul and it was just we needed after another long winter of lockdowns and masks and covid.
The house is fully equipped with everything you need and if you need anything else, Heike will definitely take care of it.
The beds are comfortable, the space outside is just wonderful for lounging and meals and the kids absolutely loved feeding the donkey Paco and the several chickens.
All in all, it was a perfect summer break in the perfect surroundings!

Well equipped and clean house in a beautiful valley near Aljezur. Heike was very friendly and helpful and available if we needed anything. Great location near inland and coastal walks and stunning beaches. 15mins from Arrifana and many other surfing beaches within 30mins.

We had a lovely holiday exploring the surrounding coast and countryside, but it was lovely to come back to this peaceful, relaxing place. There was everything we could need in the cottage, apart from a microwave. The WiFi was a bit erratic which was a pity as it was advertised as having WiFi!

If you're searching for a place where you can rest your mind and enjoy what nature has to offer, than this is the place for you.
We spend 2 weeks in "Casa Sul" and we had a great time. Everything was great, from the peaceful and natural landscape where the hills touch the sky, to the kind offers of fresh vegetables and eggs by the owners, the cool breeze and starry sky, all makes it a unique experience. Our 2 year old child also loved it and didn't want to leave.
