Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways brings you this comfortable oceanfront home in Yachats, Oregon. Come for two nights, or stay for two weeks! This house sleeps up to 6. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath, there's a queen bed in the second bedroom, and there's a hide-a-way bed in the living room with a fantastic view of the ocean! Amenities include an oceanfront hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace (Duraflame or presto logs only), laundry facilities, TV, and stereo. You can stay in and watch the ocean's majestic rhythm from the panoramic views in the living room, dining area, kitchen and primary bedroom, or sit out on the wooden deck to watch the ocean and listen to the waves. The rocky beach is great for scrambling around and exploring the sea life and seashells in the tide pools. You'll be in the town of Yachats, with boutiques and restaurants for your enjoyment. Or, you can take the 804 Walking Trail and explore miles of sandy beach.

Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced- No street parking allowed)

THE GOOD: The view is UNBEATABLE! Literally a 180-degree view of the ocean right in front of you with no obstructions. The house was clean. The two bedrooms were VERY nice. The bed linens were beautiful and comfortable. The two bathrooms were clean with plenty of bathroom linens. The house location was GREAT with a shoreline walking path less than a minute away. The grass yard stretches from the house to the ocean but there is no real beach access due to a 6–8-foot drop from the grass to the beach. The hot tub was nice. The long driveway provided ample off-street parking. The 5 o’clock check-in was a little late in our opinion, but it was very welcoming to arrive with soft music playing and met with that oceanfront view. THE NOT SO GOOD: The rental company relies on electronic communication with limited texts and emails, but there really should be a hard copy folder available INSIDE the house to explain the rules and amenities. There was no sponge or kitchen towels to wash dishes. The hide-a-bed living room couch was broken and needs to be replaced. The rental company was unresponsive when I brought this up. An electrical outlet in the living room didn’t work at all. Another outlet in the living room worked, but when you went to unplug your accessory, it pulled THE ENTIRE OUTLET out of the wall. Overall, our experience was very good, and we would DEFINITLY return. The house just needs some simple upgrades to make the experience that much better.

I enjoyed the property - beautiful view of ocean, good location. Some opportunity to upgrade some of the furniture to be more comfortable.
