Located just a few steps away from the beautiful shores of Lake Como and Spiaggia Amila, this 2-bedroom, mountain-view retreat is ideal for small groups of 4 looking for endless relaxation, reconnection and fun in a laid-back location on Lake Como. Outside, the second-floor retreat provides a large vibrant garden and a private terrace with open-air dining and BBQ to enjoy on pleasant summer evenings.
Even inside, the apartment provides perfect relaxation with air-conditioning and an ambient living room with ample sitting space for entertainment amenities like a DVD player and flatscreen TV. There is also a fully-equipped separate kitchen with a breakfast table and every essential utility like a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and fridge at the guest’s disposal.
Laundry and ironing facilities are available for added convenience.

Living room: There is a double sofa bed for 2.

Guests can enjoy proximity to Spiaggia Libera Amila, boat rentals, buses and Villa Sola Cabiati are less than a 10-minute walk. From your property, lakefront restaurants, Belvedere di Mezzegra (with beautiful panoramic views) and the parking lot are also just a 5-minute stroll away. You can also walk along the scenic lakefront, and reach the famous Villa Carlotta in about 30 minutes, however, by car, it is just a 5-minute drive. From the villa, the Lake Como ferry (the main passenger ferry port of Cadenabbia) going to the Golden Triangle Towns of Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna, is just a 10-minute walk away.
The central western shore also offers easy access by bus/ car to Menaggio (13 minutes away) as well as the famous resort towns of Varenna and Bellagio (via ferry service from Cadenabbia). Perfect for year-round holidays, the holiday retreat is easily within reach from Milan and its airports (68 minutes drive) and the Italian Alp ski resorts (under 1.5 hours drive away).

We did have a very nice vacation at the apartment. The pros:
Excellent location int the town of Mezzegra which is very typical Italian with very few tourists. The garden is perfect for relaxing and dining. The price was fair. The bathroom is good, and clean. Kitchen OK.
Cons: Beds are not very good. Coffee machine is not a machine - it's a very small, very low quality espressomaker - but works fine. Main problem: All the stuff you need on an everyday basis, i.e. cutlery, glasses, cups, and kitchen tools are of a very low quality. The only sharp kitchen knife is not sharp.
I would recommend swapping all the really cheap (probably IKEA) things to higher quality. Thas also goes for the furniture outside. It works, but it's cheap and not very good. I also missed cushions for the outdoor furniture (sun bed + chairs).
But again: You get what you pay for - and we had a fantastic holiday :-)
