Brimming with vintage details and charming touches, Historic Adobe Abode will leave a lasting impression long after your stay.
The Space:
Where location and convenience meet nostalgia and charm, you'll find Historic Adobe Abode! Warm up by the crackling wood-burning fireplace in the living room on chilly winter nights. Explore the thoughtfully curated collection of handcrafted items throughout the home, adding to its unique charm.
Prepare delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with everything you need – from a blender for smoothies to baking dishes for homemade treats. Gather around the one-of-a-kind bread maker's table and enjoy your creations surrounded by history. The exposed adobe bricks, crafted on-site, serve as a constant reminder of this home's rich past.
Enjoy ample room to unwind with two king bedrooms and a fully renovated bathroom upstairs.
The finished basement offers a bonus living and game room, complete with a TV – perfect for family fun! It even has a washer & dryer for your convenience.
In the backyard, unwind under the stars by the crackling firepit, or fire up the barbecue for a fun al fresco meal. In season, you can even gather pecans from our very own tree.
With a direct fiber optic connection to our local ISP, you will enjoy blazing download speeds for work, play and entertainment.
As mentioned, this property is a pet friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy.

Our guests will have full access to the home, front and back yards, laundry room, etc.

Just one block from the center of downtown Kanab, you'll be within walking distance of great shops, restaurants and more!
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
You can walk to all of Kanab's restaurants and shops directly from our home but you will need a vehicle to explore the parks and other attractions. This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Just minutes away from downtown Kanab, this home makes accessing local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores convenient and easy!
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

This house in Kanab is perfectly located, very cute and practical inside. We were very happy and would definitely rent it again.

We absolutely loved this sweet home! The kitchen was great to cook in and had all spices, oils and cooking implements and great gas stove. It was so quiet, and we loved the enclosed backyard for our pups. Loved the location, nice and close for a walk-through town of Kanab. The price was great, and property manager was great to work with! Outdoor grill was great, too!

Great little house. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Lots of hiking trails nearby and major parks (Zion, Bryce Canyon, etc…) fairly close as well. I’d stay there again for sure.
