About this villa rental
Welcome to our beautiful villa situated in Veranda Palms, ideally located close to US-192 and only a 10-minute drive from I-4
Our home boasts peaceful water views at the back with no rear neighbors plus the front is situated across from open countryside.
The gated community of Veranda Palms is one of the newest resort communities in the Orlando area and amenities include a gym, communal swimming pool with slides and splash zone, kids' playground area, lakes, biking trails, volleyball and basketball court and walking paths.
Only 5 minutes away there are several supermarkets, restaurants and stores of all kinds.
Veranda Palms is also ideally located for local attractions and activities including but not limited to:
Disney's Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, Epcot, Disney Springs ,Universal Studios all within 15-20 minutes' drive.
By driving 1.5 hours to the West Coast of Florida there is St. Petersburg where you can experience some of the most amazing beaches Florida has to offer, and in Tampa you can find Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium plus more amazing beaches in Clearwater.
NASA's Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach is on Florida's East Coast about 1 hour's drive from the villa.
The villa has also been professionally decorated to give an executive yet comfortable feel throughout.
With two floors, four bedrooms, and three and a half baths, your party will be able to enjoy time together both inside and outside but also have privacy when needed.
Living Room:
The villa has an open lounge area with a comfortable large sofa and chairs. A nice 55" LED TV with cable and a Roku device for all your streaming.
All TV's have Roku devices for streaming your favorite apps. Free WI-FI and cable is included.
Kitchen:
Here you will find all modern appliances, stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher and a large double fridge with freezer and ice maker, all in black. The kitchen is fully equipped for those nights when you want to stay home and cook.
You will also find a coffee maker, blender, mixer, kettle, toaster, complete tableware for 16 people, and much more. Modern granite countertops and a breakfast bar make this a great place to have your morning coffee.
Dining Room:
The dining table with 6 chairs is another great option for sitting down together.
Bedrooms:
All bedrooms are on the second floor.
Each bedroom has a 32 "LED TV with Roku for streaming, clock radio and ceiling fans.
Ensuite 1 is equipped with a king size bed and walk-in closet
Ensuite 2 is equipped with a king size bed and walk-in closet
Bedroom 3 features 2 single beds
Bedroom 4 features 2 single beds (bedrooms 3 and 4 share a bathroom)
Pool:
After long hours in parks and shopping centers, it is wonderful to come back to your own private pool area. As you aren't overlooked in the back, you can thoroughly enjoy some private outdoor dining or drinks by the pool side.
Here you can relax in the sun on one of the 4 loungers, or take a refreshing swim in the lovely extra-large pool area.
The terrace is partially covered so you can move into the shade during the hottest parts of the day and the pool is surrounded by a screened in lanai to protect against bugs.
If you're travelling with little ones, there is also a pool safety fence available.
Games Room:
We have converted our garage into a games room for the whole family to enjoy. It features a pool table, foosball, and air hockey supplying hours of fun for adults and kids alike.
Safety:
For your peace of mind, our villa has been equipped with the latest on the market in security and alarm systems.
Additional:
Pool heat can be purchased in advance during cooler months.
Baby equipment is also available; we have a pack and play and a highchair.
This villa is self-service--meaning the guest will need to provide their own toiletries such as cleaning supplies, paper towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, detergent, etc. You are welcome to purchase a Starter Kit from our office with some of these supplies if you wish.

Overall great stay. House could use a little updating (water stains on some of the furniture, older looking carpeting, a few issues with several toilets, pool gate stuck/very hard to open) but generally a great place and excellent value. All 3 upstairs toilets were running/had some trouble flushing. We reported one of them (hadn’t noticed the others yet) and we got a note 24 hours later that it had been fixed while we were out but it didn’t seem to.be fixed. And then we were leaving next day so we didn’t follow up. Worth another look by the property manager in all three bathrooms.

After reading a previous review, I must admit we were concerned prior to our arrival. HOWEVER, we found the property perfectly prepared for our visit! The property was spacious, clean and tidy. It is situated in a gated community within 1 mile of restaurants, fast food establishments and stores (Target, Walmart, Publix, SAMS Club, pharmacies, gift shops, outlet mall, putt putt golf, etc.) . All Disney Parks, Disney Springs and Sea World were easily accessible with less than 10-15 minutes travel time. The kitchen was stocked with dishware, small appliances (toaster, coffeemaker, etc.) and silverware/utensils. The game room offered several trikes and bikes as well as air hockey, pool and foosball. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living room/dining room were spacious and well-organized. The pool was maintained on Wednesday (maintained every Wednesday as stated by the gentleman) by a pool maintenance crew of two who were so kind, accommodating (offered to come back at another time if needed) and thorough with their work. Other amenities stated in property description were present and available at the property. The home was perfectly comfortable for our family of six (four adults and two toddlers). Communication with our hosts (Jenny and Zoe) was perfect - - they were helpful with reservations, they answered all of our questions and were accommodating to make sure our requests were met. We would indeed choose this home again for future trips to Orlando!

I had one friend with me for 5 weeks and one couple visited for 12 days and another friend stay for 5 days. We all had a wonderful time. The house was quite adequate with the staggered visits. I believe 5 adults at the same time would have been very congested. This residence is more suited for a family with small children rather than a group of adult friends.

Overall my experience was OK. The house is a good size, nice neighborhood, The pool was clean and nice (even though We noticed as soon as we walked in the door that one of the pool screens was broken, I contacted someone right away and was told a report was already made and nothing could be done because it was the weekend and that It would get fixed maybe Monday, but it didn’t get fixed until Friday, which meant we had to clean the bugs from the pool every morning). Less than half an hour in the house, my 8 year old son Who was super excited to go for in the pool, went around it and got this nasty cut on his leg that he got from these old lounge chair that was sitting right next to the pool (with not a lot of space in between the chair in the pool) and it had an old rusty nail coming out of it. Being on vacation, being new to the area I had no idea where to take him, but as soon as I saw his leg I knew he needed stitches. I called a couple numbers that I could find around the house and no one answered until I called the front gate and explained what happened and was told to call 911 because they are really close by. I called, they came, cleaned the area, put some gauze around it and told me to take him to the hospital to get stitches and to make sure he was up-to-date on his tetanus shot because of the condition of the chair. After a long drive to get to the house and being in the house for less than 30 minutes I had to take my son to the hospital to get 10 stitches and didn’t get back to the house until almost 1 in the morning.
The following day we checked all the chairs that were around the pool and they were all old, Rusty and had dangerous parts popping out. When I finally contacted someone about it, all they said was they were sorry, but it took them A couple of days to come by the house and actually get all the chairs away (Which we had piled up in the corner). What made me really upset was that it wasn’t my son‘s fault that this chair had a nail coming out of it and was placed right next to the pool to be used. When you rent the house they tell you that the house is inspected before your arrival but I can’t believe that someone inspected the house and did not see those old, rusty, dangerous chairs all around the pool. Now being out of state I don’t know if my sons medical bill will be covered and no one seems to take the responsibility for it. The AC doesn’t always work either, other than that it was ok.
