About this house rental
Nemo Retreat is a 3-bedroom property situated in the village of Firostefani, only few steps away from excellent restaurants, shops and just 10 minutes walk from Fira the island’s capital. It consists 3 bedrooms, outdoors Jacuzzi, sunbathing terraces, panoramic views of the sea and the volcano and from there you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.
===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION =====
From the main door you have access to the courtyard equipped with outdoors sitting and dining area with amazing views. Some stairs lead to the two upper floor roof top terraces equipped with sun beds for sunbathing and outdoors Jacuzzi with beautiful sea views.
The house features the typical Santorini’s architecture with vaulted ceilings and curves, white walls, combined with elegant furnishing, antique and art objects including a shell collection and decorations in the living room area.
All this combined with all modern comforts and facilities.
In detail there is one master bedroom with queen size bed, separate entrance and en suite bathroom. Two other bedrooms with double beds are situated on the main building and share one full bathroom with shower cabin.
On the main building you will find a comfortable living area, the shell decoration and a boat are dominant in this room that create a special and artistic atmosphere.
There is also a separate dining room with a wooden table and antique furnishings suitable to sit 10 persons and a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining room.
The villa is equipped with satellite TV, mini stereo, A/C, Wi–Fi, courtyard with fantastic sea views, sunbathing terraces with sun beds, outdoors Jacuzzi, which make it the perfect place for a relaxing vacation in Santorini.
Neighborhood and transport:
Nemo Retreat is located in Firostefani, a small village near Fira, the Santorini's main city.
Fira is also known as the "roof of the island" because of the extremely panoramic position in which it stands. From a logistical point of view it is perhaps the best solution to enjoy the two souls of Santorini: the romantic one, which lives of tormenting sunsets and the frugality of the local lifestyle; and the social one made of shopping, aperitifs, dinners and nightlife.
Rental Rules:
Minimum stay: 3 nights
Check-in: 14:00 Checkout: 10:00
A refundable deposit of € 400 is required upon arrival and it will be returned at the end of the stay less any charges in case of damage to the property.
The rates include maid service and taxes. The maid service is daily except Sundays.

Fira Bus station: 2 Km
Closest beach: Vourvoulos 2 Km

The views are beyond stunning, the home is is such a great location.
I can’t say enough good things about Jackie’s home, this was the highlight of our trip around Greece.The views are beyond stunning, the home is is such a great location.On the edge of the shops and restaurants so everything is in walking distance, the area around is very clean & quiet so you get a great sleep.Beds are very comfortable & they have everything you would need.Jackie was quick to answer & arranged our pick up/drop off and was so flexible with our check in & out.She is so sweet & welcoming.Do not pass this place up! Hot tub feels like you are floating in the sky with the views you see

Everything about Nemo was wonderful! The exterior is warm and inviting and the perfect place for meals in the sun with a great view of the Caldera. The interior spaces are cozy and well appointed. Bed comfortable and good pillows! Location is ideal close to Fira and right down from the main walkway between villages.
The best part of Nemo is definitely Jackie, the house manager. She was beyond helpful with planning our trip, arranging for food and wine at Nemo upon our arrival and cheerfully helped us with our every request (taxis, advice, dinner reservations). She made our trip to Santorini and Nemo relaxing and fun!

Nemo retreat has a spectacular view of the caldera side. Remarkable. The location is also great and within walking distance of many restaurants. We also found it to be quite safe and a relatively quiet spot to stay. However, given the cost per night, we expected an equally spectacular place to lay our heads and to get washed up each day. Instead, we were met with pretty dusty accommodations, literally layers of dust on some items (e.g., remote control, surfaces, etc). We never received clean towels, either, which was not only gross, but a serious turnoff of the entire stay. We mentioned this, and the next set of towels were not stained, like the first set but they were very well worn. Clean towels is a basic expectation that should have been met. The bathroom in the main house desperately needs renovating. My housemates complained of bugs and nasty grout in the bathroom, not at all befitting of a place that was so expensive per night. Our takeaway is that the owner rests heavily on the views and invests little to nothing in the actual accommodations. That is unacceptable. I’d recommend Santorini to anyone I know, but I would not recommend they stay at this property, or at least not for the price they charged us.
