Ellis Cottage is a beautiful renovated character home built in circa 1890. Features of the cottage include polished floor boards and high ceilings. There is also a beautifully crafted modern extension at the rear with bifold doors opening onto a large rear deck with city scape and mountain vistas.

Glebe is one of the oldest weatherboard suburbs in Australia and for this reason the period cottages are a architectural wonder. The cottage sleeps up to 8 guests and is within close walking distance to the Hobart CBD, Salamanca (Market), Hobart waterfront (where you can catch the ferry to MONA), North Hobart restaurant and café strip, Hobart Aquatic Centre, Royal Botanical Garedens, Supermarkets, and much more.

Everything that we needed was closed by for us.We couldn’t false the house and there was information on things to do and see around Hobart.Phillip even told me how much it would cost to catch a taxi to the city if helped everyone that was staying at the house.If I go back to Hobart I would more likely to stay there again because you are over looking the city.

Yes our host Phillip was amazing, providing information on sights & restaurants in Hobart.Ellis Cottage was so quite and clean with a short walk to city, or 10 minute uber.Highly recommend
