Ellis Cottage is a beautiful renovated character home built in circa 1890. Features of the cottage include polished floor boards and high ceilings. There is also a beautifully crafted modern extension at the rear with bifold doors opening onto a large rear deck with city scape and mountain vistas.

Glebe is one of the oldest weatherboard suburbs in Australia and for this reason the period cottages are a architectural wonder. The cottage sleeps up to 8 guests and is within close walking distance to the Hobart CBD, Salamanca (Market), Hobart waterfront (where you can catch the ferry to MONA), North Hobart restaurant and café strip, Hobart Aquatic Centre, Royal Botanical Garedens, Supermarkets, and much more.

Its cosy in winter with fully ducted heating plus double glazing and the fully opening glass sliding doors means this lovely home is a perfect indoor/outdoor space in summer.

Philip was very helpful and provided us all the information we needed and the location of the property was well situated, the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable with a huge kitchen and living area with a beautiful decking and garden

This property was chosen in order to spend a week with family to celebrate a significant birthday. There was plenty of space to relax and a great decked area at the rear that had views of the city and Mt Wellington. Kitchen was well provisioned allowing the private caterer that we arranged to prepare a serve a 4 course lunch without difficulty. Within easy walking distance of Salamanca Place but be aware it is a steep walk back.
