About this house rental
This former Grand-Papa's workshop has been renovated to offer you a charming house, fully equipped, air-conditioned, centrally heated, with private courtyard. It is located in a quiet village, close to the main roads (A35 motorway 2 minutes away by car).
Ideal for a peaceful stay while being close to the best points of interest:
- 13km from Colmar downtown
- 10km from Eguisheim
- 18km from Germany
The accommodation
- COMPOSITION of the dwelling:
On the first floor:
- A private courtyard giving access to the accommodation (the courtyard is equipped with garden furniture, outdoor table and chairs and electric barbecue)
- a fully equipped kitchen/dining room with a bar area,
- a living room (separate from the kitchen), with connected TV, including a daybed (80-160x200) + 2 separate sofas,
- a toilet and sink,
- a storage room/laundry room.
Upstairs (access via the kitchen):
In a row:
- a large bedroom with a king size bed (180x200) and a connected TV.
- a dressing room with a daybed (80-160x200)
- a bathroom (shower, bath, sink, toilet) accessible only from the bedroom and the dressing room.
- IMPORTANT:
In case of booking for 4 people, please note that the bathroom is only accessible from the bedroom on the 1st floor. However, a toilet and sink are located next to the living room on the first floor.
- PARKING:
A private courtyard and a parking space are included with the accommodation (please contact us in case of large vehicles).
In winter, the car can be parked in the private courtyard.
In summer, the car must be parked in the parking space, the private courtyard being equipped (garden furniture, table, etc.)
- LINEN and CLEANING:
Bed and bath linen as well as end-of-stay cleaning are included in the reservation.
-WIFI:
The house is equipped with Wifi (free).
- BABY EQUIPMENT:
A travel cot, a high chair, a bathtub are available on request.

We enjoyed a great stay! The village is very close to so many other villages and larger towns in the Alsace. Carmen’s gite is spacious, very comfortable and very well maintained. It is extremely well equipped, there was absolutely everything we needed. We loved knowing our car and bicycles were safe as the fire and parking are behind an electric gated area. You do need a car as there are no amenities within walking distance, Aldi is about 2.5k out of the village. Fabulous for exploring the stunning wine region and gorgeous towns.Thank you Carmen!
