Clean, Family-Friendly, Oceanfront Vacation House in Gated Community!
An inviting front row beach house offers a welcome retreat for a family or friends to enjoy quiet, beautiful beach home with nothing but sand between you and the ocean. This 3-bedroom/3-bath split-level oceanfront getaway offers charming, newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms and kitchen.
This is the right space for a refreshing beach getaway, surrounded by modern conveniences, such as free Wifi, an outdoor grill, flat screens, DVD players, and a washer and dryer.
The master bedroom feels like a starlit retreat, providing a queen bed with fresh white bedding and a beautiful view. The master bathroom has a tastefully tiled shower with stainless steel accents.
The second and third bedrooms have queen beds and closet space. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom.
The main living/kitchen has also been remodeled.
It currently offers:
-comfortable seating with an oversized, plush couch
-flat screen TV
-beautiful wood beams
-a kitchen space with a full-sized fridge, stove/oven, and dining area
-outdoor patio/deck with an outdoor grill and seating in the summer
PARKING: General street parking in the area can be utilized for free. The beach house is in a gated community (which allows for a large amount of space for parking outside the house).
There is plenty of fun to be found in the surf and sand (surfing, Dory Boat fishing, hang gliding, horse riding, hiking, kayaking, swimming, whale watching, golfing and many more family-friendly activities are nearby). We are only a 15-minute walk to the Pelican Brew Pub, a variety of nearby restaurants, and a local grocery store. Also we are only a short drive to Sand Lake. Bring your ATV out and spend the day riding around on the ocean front!
The neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a gated community which provides privacy and easy beach access for guests. No cars are allowed on the beach in front of the community - a nice plus!
Other things to note:
As a safety precaution, the lofts in the house are not to be used.
No pets are allowed on the property.

Sand Dunes & Views
The house sits just behind the coastal sand dunes, which naturally shift with the seasons. At certain times of year, the dune may partially block the view from the living room, while at other times it’s more open. Either way, beach access is just steps away!
Windows & Screens
The windows do not have screens. Because of the coastal wind and sand, screens quickly become clogged and unusable. We recommend keeping this in mind with little ones.
Wi-Fi & Connectivity
We provide the fastest service available in the area; however, internet along the coast can sometimes be spotty. Most guests find it reliable for streaming and calls, but it may not always support multiple devices at once.
Deck & Outdoor Areas
Our deck is maintained regularly, but like any wooden surface by the ocean, small splinters are possible. Please use shoes outdoors to avoid discomfort.
Showers & Bathrooms
Our showers are fully functional, though one is scheduled for tile maintenance during the off-season. We make sure they are cleaned and guest-ready for every stay.
Cleaning Standards
We work closely with our cleaning team to prepare the home for each guest. If you ever find something out of place on arrival, please let us know right away so we can make it right.

Everything was as advertised. When we called the owner while at the property to ask a question about the dishwasher, we never received a response though. We enjoyed our stay very much. The dune almost reaches the living room. For those not physically fit to climb up a very steep dune, access to and from the beach could be a problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and having bathroom with each bedroom was a real plus. The location is quiet and beautiful. The steps inside the home are minimal but there are steps down into the property so just be aware if you have heavy luggage or knee issues, there are steps involved. You can see and hear the ocean from the open great room and the master bedroom. Once outside the back patio, there's a dune you must climb in order to view the ocean and then a steep climb down a dune to get to the ocean and coming back up it is a steep climb. The beach is sandy and great for walking, with spectacular views. You can walk down the beach to the Pelican restaurant and pub. The house is comfortable for gathering and well supplied with shampoo, soap, towels, salt, pepper, dishwasher detergent, etc. which was nice. The property shows some wear or could use a deep clean but very functional and relaxing. The town is small and immersive and it's easy to travel up or down the coast to more touristy (and more crowded) areas.The hosts are very thorough in communicating, providing clear directions, and helpful information in the home about restaurants nearby, etc.Sunsets at the property are spectacular and we were fortunate to see sea lions, pelicans, and other wildlife while sitting on the dune. We would certainly be happy to stay here again and appreciate the owners sharing this lovely getaway.

This property does not live up to the presentation. The second and third bedroom are very small and difficult to move around. The ocean view from the living room and kitchen is blocked by a 7 foot sand dune along the entire beach. If you move the plastic chairs to the top of the sand dune the view is spectacular. We were fortunate with great weather to accomplish this.
