Kitchen was bare bones for someone who can improvise. Exterior lockbox for apartment key difficult to work, not cool late at night after a long flight. Not cool when leaving early to catch a flight. Expedia/property manager could've mentioned Greece's vacation rental tax before reservation for ticket and property. Expedia to VRBO to property manager--confusing to be passed off by Expedia. Apt. good for family, great location. Convenient. Safe. April nightly rate appropriate.

A great apartment in the centre of one of the nicest neighbourhood of Athens, with many excellent cafes and restaurants at your doorstep, and few minutes walk or taxi drive to any touristic landmark.The partment was excellent, ariconditioned and with everything we needed.We will come back again.

The apartment was conveniently located and quite adequate for our needs. However, it would be much improved if a number of minor annoyances could be fixed. (i) The location on the map on Vrbo is incorrect - it looks as if it is at 26 Ploutarchou, at the junction of Ploutarchou and Alopekis, whereas it is in fact two blocks further up the hill, and on the opposite side of the road, at 29 Ploutarchou, by the junction of Ploutarchou and Spefsippou. (ii) There was no bin in the kitchen, and no tea-towel; the kitchen-sink tap leaked, and hot water did not come through to it, making washing-up difficult - a problem because the dishwasher wasn't working (the door wouldn't shut). (iii) The bathroom was nicely decorated, but let down by the shower head - the hook for this was broken. (iv) The WIFI was weak and the TV wouldn't link to it. And finally, communication with the owner was unsatisfactory - we drew the above concerns to her attention during our stay, but nothing was resolved.
