Great location...easy access to West Jefferson...cool cabin with lots of space and it also located in a great area for walking.

Location is very pretty and cabin layout perfect for the 2 of us. We appreciated being able to bring our Yorkies. Wireless was also great, as was the grill. Wrap-around deck was wonderful.
Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We were there only 2 nights so not a huge issue but more than 2 uncomfortable nights might get old. The master and upstairs beds both moved/creaked excessively with the smallest movement, and mattresses had no support (nor were they the foam mattress type that is extremely comfortable). The pillows seemed very old stuffed with broken foam pieces and far too soft, and stained yellow when I removed pillow cases before departing. We did not try the twin beds upstairs so cannot comment on those.
The kitchen could also use a few more essentials - a cutting board and glass drinking glasses (rather than only plastic cups and heavy beer mugs). Numerous matching coffee mugs - which was appreciated - but no sensible drinking glasses. Odd.
The cabin also needs a very thorough cleaning to remove layers of dust from the kitchen backsplash and thick webs from the artificial flowers and all nightlights.
Most of these are simply/easy fixes (except the beds)….. they were mostly minor annoyances and certainly not worth asking to have them corrected during our 2 day stay, though the host did reach out during to ask if everything was ok.
