Beautiful Lake House in County Park

Great place!

We had a wonderful time… Thank you

Beautiful location, quiet and everything we needed. Living room area is smaller but fit our needs. We'd visit again. ( And plan too!)

This home is located at an entrance to a public park that overlooks a huge daily farm which has a constant odor of manure. The outdoor area smells heavily of cow manure. The house was not clean to standards by any means. I did notify Washington County, the owners of this property, to tell them about the conditions when I got there. We could not use the refrigerator to put food into, until it was completely cleaned out. They gave me a refund of 150, for 2 hours of cleaning this out. The windows all need attention. Dirty windows are not nice to look out of. The kitchen floor is cleaned by a swifter mop. The shower and bath up stairs needs a good cleaning to get all the slimy build up out of it. There were not enough hand towels, wash cloths, bathmats, dish towels for the rental unit. The washer was broken and they delivered one on the third day at 6:45 am. They delivered a used, old washer that was full of mold. I cleaned this for an hour. Still made the clothes smell musty after using. The outdoor area had broken picnic benches for seating. Luckily no one got a splinter from them. The description should mention you are on top of a hill over looking one of the largest milking farms in the area. Beach area is nice, and a simple walk down the pathway. There is minimal view of the lake from the second floor bedrooms. Many of the bedroom doors do no latch when they are closed. There are missing drawer handles on the bedroom dressers, so you can't open the drawers and use them.
