About this house rental

The Fonz, Laverne & Shirley!
Happy Days MKE is located in a tidy, safe, quiet neighborhood, 3 min to AMF; 12 min to Fiserv Forum, and 5 min to the Petit Center.
Concerts, Zoo, State Fair, golfing, Brewer's Baseball Stadium, skating, curling, shops, pubs, & restaurants (within 3-12 min).
The Happy Days House is great for a medium-sized group or comfortable for 1 or 2. This spacious (13Ksq ft) beautiful remodel has a 50s-era cottage feel where Fonzie and the gang are remembered like old family friends.

This corner lot house on a hill is set in a quiet Milwaukee neighborhood. You'll love the porch where you might have your morning coffee and look out down the beautiful mature tree-lined streets.

As you enter, you’ll go through the well-loved backyard to the back door and begin your experience at our cottage-like home. Enjoy the outdoor dining table, fire-pit, and Bar-B-Que grill and hot-tub!

Inside on the first floor, you have the kitchen, dining room, and living room, which are open and connected. This area is perfect for people to gather and relax, yet it has a cozy feel.

The kitchen is large and well-appointed with everything you might need for coffee and cooking. You can easily seat 8 in the dining room (6 at the table and 2 at the peninsula). There is also a large window seat just beyond the dining room table for extra seating.

The kitchen's peninsula counter and bar stools are a great place to set up when remote working. That's what I like to do when I'm there.

The living room has a queen-sized pull-out bed, a beautiful fireplace anchoring the space, and original leaded glass windows.

You have one full bedroom on the first floor, a twin daybed & trundle.

Upstairs, you’ll find the bathroom.
To the right is the queen master bedroom.
Opposite the hallway, you’ll find the bunks (twin over and under full).
Both of these rooms have long walk-in closets.
Down the hallway, you’ll find a fourth bedroom with a twin bed.

Please note:
-We take extra care with cleaning using hot water to sanitize all sheets; we thoroughly clean the bathroom and all other surfaces.

-The house is not wheelchair accessible and has lots of stairs. It could be difficult for an elderly person or someone physically challenged.
Guest access
You will have access to all of the house except for the second bonus room that is kept for supplies. The back shed will also be locked. You will have self-check-in.
Instructions will follow upon booking.
Other things to note
This house is on a hill. You will have a flight of stairs to ascend before reaching the ground level of the house. Please be mindful of your footing. The bathroom is on the second floor. The house is not accessible for those who have difficulty ascending. For safety and check-in documentation, cameras oversee the entrances and backyard (fire pit and hot tub).

* The house can sleep 10, but the rate listed is for up to 4 people. After 4, there is an additional charge per person. Please be sure to supply the correct number of people staying for the correct charge to avoid confusion later. The house is self-check-in, but cameras at the entrances document the number in a group. Thank you!

Nice little place. Price was a bit spendy for what u get. But if u have a bigger group prolly better. Sleeps more than the amount we had so I could see how that would be more affordable. Charcoal wouldn't light so we cldnt grill but everything else was ok. Very clean. Had zero contact with host. Didn't need anything though so that was fine. Had a great time at Summerfest which was why we were there. All in all good stay.

Place was as advertised, and was clean and comfortable. While we didn't pick this house for the Happy Day/L&S theme, we enjoyed it and marveled at that the considerable effort that went into making the space pretty darn authentic! Street parking was always available out front. For some, the stairs to get from the street level to to the house might be a consideration - it was not for us. It was especially nice to find some snacks and cold beverages waiting for us. The front porch is WONDERFUL place to relax - it is shaded with a great breeze, and was an especially fun during a rain storm - we enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and a cold beer on the porch in the evening.

Late check in and early check out times at 4PM & 10AM were not great for my a single night stay, which was actually only 18 hours of the property, and included someone mowing the yard at 7PM on a Saturday. Key pads didn't work on either door, which delayed entering for an hour while I tried to contact the host. I wasn't able to get back in later in the night as well. I had to call the host to get a key while our dog was stuck inside at 11PM. Google & YouTube search suggested the door touchpad's batteries were dead. Single bathroom up the very steep stairs isn't great for a group, but worked for our party of two for a day. I found the camera over looking the hot tub weird. Price was excessive for the experience, and I wish I would have gotten a hotel instead.Loved the Spotted Cow beers, that are only sold in WI, in the fridge on arrival though.
