About this house rental
Cocoonr is offering this charming, fully refurbished and air-conditioned south-facing house for rent in Longué-Jumelles. It has a floor area of 100 m² and can accommodate up to 10 guests. It comprises a lovely living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three spacious bedrooms and two shower rooms. You can enjoy a garden of around 700 m²! Wi-Fi (fibre optic), bed linen and towels included – we’re just waiting for you!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A 35 m² living room with a sofa, a double sofa bed, armchairs, a decorative fireplace and a bread oven, and a TV
- An open-plan fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, extractor hood, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, hob… a dining area and access to the terrace
- A bathroom with shower, toilet and heated towel rail
- A utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board…
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 1: one double bed (140×190) and one pull-out sofa bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: two single beds (90×190)
- Bedroom 3: two single beds (90×190)
- A shower room with a heated towel rail
- A separate toilet
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
Outdoors:
- A beautiful, enclosed and private garden of 700 m²
- A small courtyard of 400 m² at the front of the house where you can park
- A 28 m² terrace, facing north-west, with garden furniture, a parasol and a barbecue to enjoy the sunny days
- A pétanque court (4×12 m)
The house is ideally situated in Longué-Jumelles, in a peaceful and very pleasant setting. You’ll be able to appreciate the charm of this rural hamlet as well as the rich variety of flora and fauna in the surrounding state-owned forest. What’s more, you’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a lively local market. Saumur is a 20-minute drive away, Angers 30 minutes and Tours 40 minutes, offering quick and convenient access to these popular destinations. Access to the A85 motorway is 5 km away.
Activities:
- The state-owned forests, ideal for walks or cycle rides along the greenway.
- Discover local producers: beekeepers, butchers, market gardeners, etc.
- Right on the doorstep of the famous châteaux of the Loire and the Loire Valley, including mushroom farms and vineyards.
- Visits to the zoos at Doué-la-Fontaine (45 mins), La Flèche (40 mins) and Beauval (90 mins).
- Quick access to Terra Botanica (35 mins) and the Trélazé slate quarries (35 mins).
- Trip to Puy du Fou (1 hour 25 mins)
- Events not to be missed: the exhibition centres in Angers, Saumur and Le Mans, the Carrousel de Saumur,

If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house’s private car park (4 to 5 vehicles). An electric vehicle charging point is available on request and at an additional cost.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Saumur, approximately 26 km away (24 mins by car)
- Nearest airport: Angers, approximately 36 km away (28 mins by car)
- We recommend travelling by car to make the most of your stay.

- Free Wi-Fi available (fibre optic).
- For charging an electric car, a supplement of €35 is charged and is payable on arrival.
- Pets are allowed (2 dogs weighing up to 10 kg each) for an additional charge of €30 per stay per pet; please specify this when booking.
- Electric vehicle charging is available for an additional charge of €10 per day, subject to the owner’s approval. Please inform us of this when booking. Please note that charging without the owner’s prior consent is strictly prohibited.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply.

We had a lovely stay at Maison de Marcelline. The property was very well equipped and like home from home. It was a good base to explore the surrounding areas.
