Dolphin Dreams Cottage - C7 at North Coast Village

Welcome to Dolphin Dreams Cottage, where the ocean breeze and waves are just a stone’s throw away from your doorstep! This cozy cottage unit boasts three extra windows, flooding the space with natural light and creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The beachy decor and comfortable furnishings will be your perfect escape after a day of soaking up the sun and riding the waves. The living area features a queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, and recliner, all connected to your own spacious patio with a lush green area and a partial ocean view. A charming stone fireplace and estate shutters add a touch of elegance to the ambiance.

The kitchen is equipped with granite counters and backsplash, a glass top stove, and all the essentials you need for cooking up a storm. It also includes a blender, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

The primary bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a Cal King mattress, a walk-in shower, and granite counters. The second bedroom has a full and twin bed. Dolphin Dreams comes with one reserved garage parking space.

In addition to all the amenities, Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs, and beach towels. The living room TV is set up for your entertainment, and you’ll also enjoy free wireless Internet.

As you walk through the staffed secure gate to oceanfront North Coast Village, you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California.

You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, laundry rooms, and rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit.

When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat with volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Beach towels and chairs are provided with the condo.

To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed. North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer.

Parties or events are not allowed at this property.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and the Sunset Market happens every Thursday evening from 5-9. Be sure to taste the cedar-planked Salmon!

The unit was clean, parking and check in was easy. There we plenty of beach toys for my son and it was 20ft from the sand. The unit does get hot, there was no ac, but plenty of fans to circulate the air. Can’t wait to come back.

Check-in was easy, kitchen good size with most of what we needed, wifi work streaming available, love the outside patio but the best part was on ground level so easy walk to beach and/or the pool. Grandkids here for a few days so both beach and pool were perfect! We will be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year staying in Oceanside, CA and at North Coast Village. We really enjoyed this unit and the quick access to the beach. The trees and bushes provide wonderful shade and privacy. They now cocoon the entire patio. We ate outside on the patio table almost every meal. The foot washing station is just to the right and came in very handy. There were no case you were wondering. We have never experienced any bugs or critters at North Coast Village at all in 3 years. The addition of the large family spa next to the big pool was very nice. It really allowed the adult spa to be more relaxing. This year we stayed the 2nd week in July and we stayed nice and cool in our unit. The fans really did help. The pull-out coach has a few springs that poke you- but that is honestly the only not-so-perfect thing about our entire vacation. We love this location and how family friendly everyone and everything is. Can't wait to come back next summer!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place to stay for a couple of days. While the back door did not open up to sand, the beach was less than 100 yards away. The amenities were well maintained, and we took advantage of them daily, including the pools, hot tubs, and grills. We will definitely be looking to book again for our next trip out west!

This unit was perfect for us size wise and close to the beach. It was equipped pretty good. Only few recommendations such as a few large bowls in the kitchen for salads, chips ect. and door matts outside entrances to help keep sand out. We did donate one door matt to the unit! A tv in each room was great but they were kind of tricky to operate sometime not being able to find the Cox cable at all. The chairs at the kitchen table were very warn and the sofa and living room chairs and area rug could use a good steam leaning also. Otherwise all was pretty good. We were there in September and it was cold and cloudy most of the time, however it was very difficult to keep the bedrooms cool. Being a ground floor unit was not safe to leave windows open during the the night or when we were gone from unit, can't imagine how it would be in the summertime.
