Sun House nestled between the countryside and the sea

We spent two weeks with our 8-year-old daughter at Borgo Borghese and felt very comfortable there. The hosts are just wonderful - always approachable, nice and very helpful. Once they invited us to prepare pizzas in the outdoor oven together with the other two families who spent their holidays there. Another day we went for a walk through the mountain village of Savoca - together with the donkey ladies Gina and Catarina. Great! The apartments are lovingly furnished, each has its own terrace, but one can also use the big garden that has a large table, play equipment and a (small) swimming pool - see pictures (although even nicer in reality). We sat there very often ... We also enjoyed cooking with fresh vegetables from the garden, and of course our daughter loved the animals around: a pony, two donkeys, chickens, turkeys and the family dog ​​Molly. We can highly recommend this place and would love to spend another holiday there soon. Two weeks are too short for Sicily ....

We had the best holiday in this lovely apartment. Salvo, Debora and Irene were the perfect hosts, generous and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. The place is beautiful, perfect for children as it is safe and enclosed. Our boys loved riding Peppino the donkey and milking the goat and collecting eggs. Molly the family dog was a star! The area was lovely, easy access to shops, bars, cafes, beach etc. Perfect to visit etna, Taormina and surrounding area. We loved the gorge at Alcantara. We cannot wait to return next year! We stayed in Borgo Borghese for one week end of June/beginning of July. We got a very warm welcome and felt very well looked after. Everything was perfect and even better then expected! The owner family was very kind and helpful and our whole family (incl. 2 kids) enjoyed the stay in this very special place. Mille grazie per la vostra ospitalita é assistenza. We had the most wonderful time staying with Salvo, Deborah and their beautiful daughter. They are truly the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have ever stayed with. The property is located in a beautiful country setting with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. They provided us with some essential items as well as some lovely fresh produce from their home grown vegetable & here garden. Our children were so welcomed and always made to feel involved by feeding the donkey or goats or collecting fresh eggs whenever we needed them. They also surprised me with a beautiful Silicain cake for my birthday which they only found out about on the day. Would highly recommend this property especially if you have children.
