Country house near the sea Luna

We truly loved our stay at Borgo Borghese. Our son played in the garden, picked and ate fruit from the trees (chinese plums, of all things, and he liked them!), and generally had a ball of the time - he even rode a donkey! The place is close to both Taormina and Savoca (a real gem), and close to a long beach road with a supermarket and some decent restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and every morning we were able to collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop (which also made a perfect hideaway for Easter eggs). Salvo, our host was absolutely amazing. Every morning he would ask us questions about what we would like to do, pop off and come back with maps and ideas and advice. As a result we saw things we didn't even plan on doing. He made us feel incredibly welcome. I would thoroughly recommend the place, particularly for families with young children.

Debora and Salvo are the most wonderful hosts. Our stay at their place felt like visiting good friends. Their tips and assistance made all the difference for our vacation. Our four years old daughter loved riding donkey "Peppino" and fetching fresh eggs from the chicken barn. Thanks for everything Debora and Salvo! We hope to come back at some point.
