Le Bois Plage En Re: mansion - 7 rooms - 10/14 persons

We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!

Great location - you can ride by bike through v quiet streets to the centre of Le Bois Plage within 10 minutes; also to S Martin within the same amount of time, through vineyards. Also well placed to get to lovely beaches through great ride through pine forest, not more than 15 mins ish. Property is spacious, lovely big lounge and dining room, various choices of bedrooms. Nice big kitchen. We had a very enjoyable stay, in a typical Ile de Re house.

Our family of 12 had a wonderful holiday, great location, comfortable beds and loved exploring the island on bikes. Plan to return next year.

The property was perfect for the holiday we wanted. It was relaxed clean and big enough for our extended family and friends to holiday with us on varying weeks, over the 5 week period. The family who own the property were delightful to communicate with, and more than happy to help make our holiday an easy one. The property manager/contact was also very helpful and always there to answer any queries we had. If you are looking to hire bicycles then hire them in town. The bikes we hired via the property manager, had not been maintained. They were difficult to ride, one broke, another had a puncture! The cost was the same as those found in town, which we found to be well maintained and of a better quality. Having said that, nothing detracted from the wonderful time we had at the property and exploring the beautiful island. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
