Welcome to Walden! A place that combines the beauty of the natural world with the warmth of a modern cabin. Located on 50 acres or protected land along the historic Shenandoah River, Walden offers one of the most spectacular retreats in the valley.
Amenities include:
* 4 Person Hot Tub
* Wifi
* 10x26 covered porch
* Fully equipped kitchen
* 50" Smart TV w/ Chromecast
* Fireplace with Electric Logs
* Outdoor fire pit
* Charcoal Grill
* Pets Welcome ($25 per night pet fee)
* 150 yard walk to river along path through the field
* 7 Miles north of Luray, VA.
* 20 Minutes to Shenandoah National Park
* River access area with picnic table, chairs and fire pit
(The riverfront is solely for the use of our guests at Walden and Sundance, {VRBO#385043} Although Sundance and Walden share the riverfront, the two cabins are completely private from one anther.)

We had an awesome birthday vacation. The house was perfect on private land with beautiful views, and a walking path down to the river. Hiked Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park on my birthday and hiked a waterfall trail the following day. We enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. We absolutely loved our stay and had an amazing trip. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. Sherry & Mike

Super nice, clean, well-maintained cabin in a secluded location with a beautiful riverfront area just a few steps away. Hot tub was relaxing and communication with the host was very easy. Close to Luray town and caverns.
