A tranquil oasis awaits in this eye-catching, Hawaii-themed, rattan 818 square-foot space. Begin the day enjoying your tropical fruits and local coffee brew from the Kihei Farmer's market on either the lanai or dining room. The dining room seats a party of four, and the lanai has chairs for six. Guests can enjoy the flat-screen cable TV and CD player in the living room. There is also a sofa bed in the living room.
Off of the lanai, you will see lush green grass and palm trees surrounding you in this serene one-bedroom garden view unit. You will want to grab a book and continue enjoying this peaceful unit in the lounger.
Tasteful granite countertops accentuate the clean lines of the cabinets in the kitchen. There you will find everything you need to plate meals for your guests. Guests can also enjoy the use of the oven, stovetop, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.
The bedroom has a King-sized bed, fluffy pillows, and fresh linens. Guests can enjoy the use of a dresser or hang clothes in the closet. A top of the dresser is a second flat-screen cable TV. Kamaole Sands is a large well kept property directly across from Kamaole Beach III. It has sprawling grounds with barbecues, tennis courts and more than adequate pool area with two hot tubs. Restaurants are just down the street - recommend trying Da Kitchen and Kihei Cafe for local dishes.
Our one bedroom unit had two bathrooms and a spacious lanai overlooking the grounds, not the ocean view. Unfortunately the cable TV did not work and the sleeper sofa was a torture instrument- reason for only three stars. This would be a perfect spot for families with small children, room to play and plenty to do nearby. The facility was 100% occupied during our mid February visit so plan in advance. Weather was a challenge for a few days but you can't beat Kihei for location.
