It sits above a charming retail store located on the main street of Downtown Auburn. Built in 1889 - updated in 2018. We worked hard to keep the charm of the turn of the century character while making sure we updated the space to offer modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pictures and description of “The Apartment” was completely accurate. Check in was smooth. The location was exactly what I was looking for, in downtown and close to old-town Auburn. The home was in pristine condition, tastefully decorated and super homey feeling! Very spacious, comfortable bed and the living room was a “living room”. Exceeded my expectations and Dawn was great to work with! I highly recommend “The Apartment”!

I had high hopes for our three-night stay in Auburn at The Apartment, and they were exceedingly met. We were so happy with the loft apartment and its location. We walked to most everything we wanted to see. Auburn has delightful museums and little stores. The place was quiet yet convenient to restaurants. The kitchen had what we needed for simple meals, the beds are comfortable, the furnishings are perfect, and it was fun to look out the windows and see downtown below. Lots of hiking is nearby. Dawn was helpful both before and during our stay. I very much hope to be able to return next time we are in Auburn.

This is a great spot with restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The apartment was clean and comfortable with the AC keeping up well with the 100 degree highs during our stay. The host was kind and responsive, quickly helping us out when we accidentally locked the door handle. If we're ever in Auburn again, this is where we'll try to stay!

The Apartment was absolutely perfect. The space was immaculately clean and well appointed. All the amenities were top notch. Decor was not run of the mill Hobby Lobby junk. It is apparent the hosts put time and effort into creating a space that feels like home. We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay without sounding like we are being paid by the hosts- which we are not. (That is unless they want to!). We will stay here again and again.

Great location, fun and bustling during the day, mostly silent at night! Easy to get around the immediate area on foot with access to groceries, restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to surrounding areas in your car. Well equipped, clean and architecturally unique. Tasteful aesthetic to the furnishings and decor.I travel solo and felt very secure here with four, count them, four deadbolts on solid door to the apartment. Check in and check out were easy peasy. The owner was communicative and very helpful. You're smart to book this place if you're headed up to the Auburn area!

We have now stayed at “The Apartment” about six times in less than two years! We call it our “home away from home! It is cutely decorated, clean and is equipped with everything you will need for a nice and comfortable stay! “The Apartment” Is located downtown in old Auburn amongst shops and dining. The host, Dawn, Is easy to communicate with and work with. You will truly love staying at “The Apartment”!

Everything about "The Apartment" is perfect. The location couldn't be more convenient for shopping and dining. The unit itself is gorgeous. It's very large and well-supplied with linens, cozy throw blankets, all kinds of useful things in the kitchen, not to mention the comfy leather furniture, the copper kitchen sink, and the amazing lighting fixtures. Loved the frosty glasses in the freezer. It's just wonderful. I didn't want to leave and will certainly stay here again and again. Thank you Dawn and Dan. What a place!

Our family of four (including two adult children) stayed here for a SECOND time! It's clean, decorated with thoughtful historical charm (but not cutesy or tacky), comfortable, and located right in downtown. Lots of restaurants and shopping just outside the door.
